This school is just awful the teachers have no idea what they're teaching all they care is about money and every student who goes all want to leave. getting suspended for tardys is just ridiculous worst school in the AV.

This school is really sucks. It's the worst school in the USA. The teacher don't teach high school almost no homework no challenges. If you want to go to this school first you need to have money second you need to pay money. You can use money to buy test pass homework pass. PS Many international students from china.

AVCS is a great school. My daughter's 1st grade teacher is the an amazing teacher who cares a great deal for her students and it shows! I'm constantly in AWE of this teacher! I want her to move up with my daughter to 2nd grade next year ) The school is great too! We've been going there for the past 4 years! I highly recommend it! My daughter is also way ahead of other kids her age that go to public schools.

THE WORST EVER I HAD NO MORE COMMUNICATION TEACHER OR PRINCIPAL JUST SO ASHAMED FOR THEM AND THEY CALL THEM SELF A CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT THEY SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED TO CALL THEM SELF THAT !!!! WELL ANY WAYS MY SON WAS HELD BACK BECAUSE OF THE REASON I HURT MYSELF THERE AND THEY TOOK IT UNDER THERE OWN WITH NO COMMUNICATION TO KEEP HIM BACK WITHOUT GIVING HIM OPPORTUNITY TO GO TO SUMMER SCHOOL AS THEY WOULD OTHER CHILDREN I GUESS THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR TOO NICE !!!!!

I will never recommend this school to anybody it's the worst school in the USA. The principal not willing to communicate email or phone. I call them so many time but no answer or voice messaging. I believe they only want money from international students. very bad school and principal regulations.

dont go to this school it sucks. teachers teaching those majors they have no degree with it just teach the teacher is not fair to every student. The school sucks with sands no green around this place If you are late the suspension wil be given so ridiculus. If parents ask the principal why his kidxxxx the principal wil be unhappy to ask the student why he tell his parent. The local students also want to leave as what international student thinking about can see how suck it is..

AVCS is an wonderful private school. My daughter attends elementary and loves going to school! The teachers are firm yet loving and the students respect their teachers. The curriculum is challenging often involving the use of critical thinking. The principal and superintendent are both pastors and believe in the ministry of this school.

The teachers all seem to be devoted and dedicated to each child. The administration however lacks consistency and good judgement. Being a Christian school one would assume all administration would be required to demonstrate biblical qualities unfortunately they seem to bend laws and regulations to make things better suited for themselves. Especially at the jr/sr high school level there seems to be bending of state rules and regulations and a refusal to apply biblical teaching among the staff.

They have an excellent pre-school program but the elementary school could use much improvement. The teacher turnover rate is extremely high which affects the stability of the school and gaps in learning for the students. the principal and administrators are pro business and not pro student and don't show genuine concern for their parents and students. They have an abused demerit system and practically no reward or merit system which is discouraging to young children. my child attended school there for four years and each year after kindergarten i wondered why I remained there until i finally had enough. my child attends school at another christian school and they absolutely love it. not to mention i am now having to work harder with them to fill in the gaps in learning missed at AV Christian School. Absolute waste of money. Would not send my toddler there and would not recommend it to anyone else.

I have been going to AVCS for 5 years now ( 3rd grade - 7th grade) and i loved elementary but jr. high is great. the teachers are wonderful. They help me learn as much as I can. I am very thankful!

My son has attended AVCS for the past two years - having attended the first 7 years at another Christian school in the city. I fully believe in the school study curriculun sports program and Christian directed education. His development has been a direct result of caring teachers and a productive and safe learning atmosphere. He has stated that the warmness of fellow students and teachers has been an important part of his feeling so loved at the school. I can appreciate the efforts of the administration and staff to introduce all of the students to Christ and develope a wholesome family campus atmosphere for all.

My daughter has attended the Elementary School for 3 years now going on 4 and I must say that my husband and I are amazed and we are very pleased with the academic and spiritual growth we have seen in our daughter. The teachers principal and staff are very nice and they actually care about each student. The school does have strict guidelines but that is just fine with us. It helps our daughter to grow in many areas. We're looking forward to another great year at AVCS. GO AVCS! =]

This is a very good Elementary School. I love the academics the strictness and structure. There's alot expected from the students which is good. It gets them ready for real life. Life's tough and kids need to learn early how to meet the challenges.

I can't speak for the Jr and Sr High but the elementary school is super. I love the high standards and the excellent academics. Children need stucture and need to know what is expected of them. At AV they must meet the high standards. This school has been great for my kids!

The Elementary principal is organized and seems to stay on top of what's going on. He seems to have a genuine concern for each child. Most of the teachers are not only concerned about a child's academics but also their spiritual growth. I love the structured/strictness in the classroom. Students don't run the classroom. The uniforms could use an overhaul. Sometimes things don't seem too organized in the office. But overall this is a great elementary school. I feel blessed to find this school for my children in their elementary years.

The jr hi/hi school has gone down hill with very bad management. But my 'Excellent' rating is for the elementary. The elementary is very organized and structured! Students are taught to be disciplined with negative and positive consequences. They excel academically. The only thing that is difficult is the expensive uniforms. Most of the teachers are loving and caring toward the students.

This was a great school when both my children were in the elementary. The Jr High /High School are poorly managed. I never thought a private school would become so politically correct. Sad. My son will definitely go to a different school next year my daughter may or may not finish out elementary. It is too bad a good school has gone so far down hill.

WOW! What a great elementary school! They seem to be strict and yet loving. The children are taught how to be disciplined and yet they are able to have fun. Public schools these days are so liberal and children are so out of control. But here the teachers are in control in the class NOT the students. The curriculum is academically ahead of public AND other private schools I've visited. The uniforms could be a little less expensive. The place where they must be purchased is difficult to work with - the owner is rude! It seems there could be a better answer for the uniforms. But overall this is a great elementary school with a purpose!

i love Antelope Valley Christian so much. Its changed me in so many ways and has brought me closer to God!

Since the school has changed ownership the elementary has only improved. Since the new ownership it seems the principals are able to really do their job as a principal and administrator. We removed our child from the high school right away! The high school and their principal is lacking in many areas. But we still have a child in the elementary. The elementary is the best it has ever been. It's much more organized and the principal seems to be able to make his own decisions. The elementary teachers and principal are always ready to listen and help in whatever way they can. They also take into consideration all people who may be affected by a particular decision.
