My son excelled in kindergarten at this school making huge leaps in his learning. He was able to read rather well by the end of the year. This school is in an old building but has great teachers who push the kids and care about them a great principal and an excellent and involved PTO.

We love this neighborhood school. In the four years that my daughter has been at the school we have never had an 'off' year--always great teachers with flair who pay attention to each individual child. There is a strong community spirit at the school an active PTO and a friendly group of parents who hang out with kids on the playground afterschool. We also love the Everyday math program which the suburban schools still don't have. It's not math the way my husband and I learned it. It's a LOT better!
