This is an amazing School!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite class is any classes of the Home Ec. Department.

The administration is horrible. The registrar doesn't like to send transcripts and answers phone and says the registrar is not available. The registrar wouldnt give my student credits that he/she earned and tried to prevent my student from graduating early.

My son graduated at 16 from Westlake with the Centennial Scholarship. He marched with Amer. Fork Marching Band in high school. Westl. has given no accountability to the registrar and the secretary in her office is aware of her behavior. Commonly the registrar will avoid phone calls by running to the secret desk that has an extra phone on it pick up the phone at reception desk pretend to be reception and say that the registrar is not available speaking in third person. She prevents a way to speak with anyone else. That is when I had to involve the principal (assist princ supports her) who had to confront her and tell her that my son had all the nec. credits to walk as a junior which he did. Then Westl. refused to send the transcripts to the college where my son attnds full-time. I requested transcr. on sev. occasions starting in June. The college reassured me that it was not on their end. If the transcr. was sent several times by the high school they would have several copies. The college registrar highly suggested I deal with the problem at Westl. ofc (asap) as fall classes were starting. Again w/princ.involvement the school had different staff send transcr. to the college.

I was a student here for my Freshman and Sophomore years can't say I like this school at all. Some teachers are good a lot aren't. There's a lot of bullying issues and the whole facility has an entitlement attitude. Transferred to Lehi High School and have enjoyed it ten times more than I ever did at WHS.

This school is new and did have some issues at first. But it seems to have work those bugs out. The teachers are excellent and really care. My son really likes this high school..

as a parent i have noticed how much happier my student has been after transferring from lehi granted it may be because she has lots more friends but she enjoys all her teachers and is challenged yet getting good grades due to the help of the teachers i would recommend this school to anyone!

This schools leadership and direction is a joke. The challenges in academic work is well below par. My daughter is not challenged rarely has to do homework.

It's true Westlake had some challenges as a new school but many of the initial kinks have been worked out or are continually under scrutiny for improvement. The school's newness however is an asset since the faculty and students are generally excited and open to new strategies and ideas. This atmosphere combined with brand new facilities makes Westlake an excellent place to learn and thrive as a student.

My daughter was a sophmore there last year. She has had a great experience with the students teachers and administration. She attended many sporting events and the teams performed well for a brand new school. Prom was her favorite dance with pictures at the school and the dance & dinner at the La Caille. Overall we have been happy with this high school.

Horrible administration. The school is an overall bad atmosphere and I would not recommend sending your child here.

School lacks leadership. whenever we have had a problem (which is alot) the principal is never in. School lacks control of its students and if i had to ever put another child through this school i would refuse.
