Although my son learned and was able to academically transition well into kindergarten I did not appreciate the way discipline was handled. The teacher used manipulation and intimidation to control the classroom. I would not find out about any discipline issues until months after it happened and by then harsh punishments would have occured (TAPE sitting on the floor in isolation during lunch and making an example out of him to make sure the other students would not act like him.) My son was too afraid to tell me about what was going on in school because he felt as if everything was his fault. When he started to cry during morning dropoff I knew something was wrong. I called a meeting that is when I found out all the issues and then the attempt was made to try and make me believe that poor parenting was the cause of my son's behavior. I have a Master's and I have worked in education for 14 years. As a teacher I understand that growth and learning more about my students happens every year I just wish that all teachers would do the same. This occured at the Northeast Campus. LMMS has a great program just needs a better teacher for that class.

We love Lake Murray Montessori School. My child is learning so much. In fact he started reading at 4 years old. He is happy about school and loves his teachers. The director is very knowledgeable about early childhood and I could not be a happier parent.

Their Annual enrollment fee is $ 200 and that the owner told me it's for the whole year. They don't allow you to leave the school in summer and if you do they want you to pay for months your child will not attending or you will lose your spot and if you leave they will charge $ 200 again. Beware and run from this school! I found Midlands montessori to be very friendly and we love it there.

I love this school! My son comes home happy and excited about what he learned at school each day and has said "Mrs. Lawson is the best teacher!"

This is a great school! My child is learning everyday and he is happy! Each classroom has a certified Montessori teacher which makes me happy knowing my child is being educated by an educated teacher.
