When my Wife and I where introduced to Carr School and Principle X we where impressed with the words spoken to us. We where promised an "open door policy" and effective communications. Our Son has been in Carr for three years now. Next year we are seriously considering a Charter School or Riverview as an alternative to the drastically and increasing decline of what we believe to be professional education our Son is receiving at Carr. Rated by Great Schools at four out of ten shows that we are not alone in our assessments. The Open Door policy was truly "Lip Service at best". The principle will not comment on anything as he apparently has no opinion and or backbone in his body. The few and short responses I have received from him had several grammatical and spelling errors. Not what we expect from the head of our children's school. No policy is in place to prevent Non-US citizens from placing their children in public schools. Carr is the epitome of Dummy Down Politics and Principle X is the perfect See no Evil Speak no Evil "Politician" to insure nothing changes or rocks the boat called easy money for himself and staff.

I love Carr school. I did some research before choosing Carr school for my boys to attend. The principal kindly invited me to the spring carnival to get a feel for the school and to meet him. My family was extremely impressed!! My children have been attending Carr school for 2 years now and I am still beyong pleased. First the principal is excellent with the kids. He promotes a very safe and healthy environment with the children. He is always around and is willing to talk to you one on one. Furthermore the secretary deserves a gold medal. She is full of information and always knows what is going on. The staff is the best--hands down!! Carr school A+++
My grandchildren attended Carr School. They had the best teachers and support staff around.
My children have been going to this school since 1998 and I love the school it is the best. I hate when they have to leave to go to middle school. Mr M. is the Best.
This school is wonderful. I wish my daughter could go there until she graduates from high school. The teachers are great! Along with the school secretary and the principal.
My son has attended Carr school for 3 yrs. I find the staff patient and wonderful. Mr. Massengill is a true professional. He takes time to speak to the kids in the hallway and is very personable never stuffy. The staff stresses school pride and each yr a school picnic is held at a local park. Lots of games food puppet shows and swimming. Very well organized. Each morning Mr. Massengill walks the school grounds keeping an eye on traffic and the children. He is never tucked away in his office. The school offers art and music programs as well as scout groups after school. I am a very pleased parent.
