Forest Lake Education Center is a school that caters really only to students with musical ability. They offer very few electives for students without musical talent. As a student of two years and having just graduated if your looking for a school with high academics flec is quite average and for that reason i wouldn't suggest spending all your money on the same education you could receive elsewhere. Also flec struggles with their bullying and other disciplinary measures. They never know when to punish or how severe to punish (I blame their lack of set punishments for that issue). And most importantly if your student is not very self disciplined then I highly do not recommend sending your child to flec because they cannot seem to handle children of a more "energetic lifestyle". The teachers are easy to work with although this can cause a student to get into the habit of not taking deadlines seriously or lying their way out of a situation and can be very oblivious. Cheating fighting and stealing are very common occurrences. Flec will teach your child whether you are aware or not the art of cheating during tests quizzes and just about everything else.

My husband and I have had six children attend Forest Lake Education Center and now our granddaughter is attending. This school is the best it's ever been in regards to leadership and academics. There are also many opportunities available for the children for unbelievably low prices. I am also very pleased with the spiritual atmosphere of the campus and can't think of one teacher who doesn't display a christian model for the students. Maybe they're there but if so I don't know who they would be. Great school - Great experience!
In regards to lice comment Lice do not come from the school. They come from HOME. It is not fair to blame this on the school. They check each student at beginning of the school & if they have lice they are sent home. DON"T BLAME THE SCHOOL!!!
Great school! My children attended school here for years. Parent involvement is 100% . Go Flec!
Place looks nice tries hard but is limited too many low income that is governmnet aid students if that's your kind of place you will like it.... school is average at best if you want more...this is not the place for you and yes lice....every year....try dealing with that maybe it is everywhere still that is not acceptable
My children has attended this school for years and my kids and myself simply love it! We as the principal teachers staff members parents and students have to each work at projecting Gods character so that no one would have to write a review that a teacher is not reflecting Gods character. But the thing is wherever you go in this world you will find someone who does not reflect Gods character. We can only pray for that person and hope that we may not become the same thing but keep our eyes on Christ so that our young ones can not only have a great education but a wonderful relationship with our Heavenly Father. Let us pray continuously for the entire school for their great work and may they keep the good work up. Go Forest Lake!
i give this school a 1000% this is the best school iv ever gone to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great leadership from many staff members. Bad financial recordkeeping. Excellent curriculum many excellent educators. Outstanding safety and discipline. Many teachers do not project a Christ- centered character.
