Blach Intermediate School has a welcoming atmosphere that makes every student feel involved and included in sports classes Fun Fridays (activities that are played for homeroom points) and Blach's overall community. The teachers at Blach care about each student and really spend their time trying to make each of their classes the best that it can be. They help students when they have problems with the course and the teachers are understanding and caring. Blach pushes its students to their maximum because it has such high academic standards. Blach is an amazing school that helps students grow as people and learners.

Georgina P. Blach is such an amazing Junior High; I couldn't have asked for a better school. Every teacher and staff member is so kind and welcoming that anybody who goes to the school feels like a part of a family. The school also does an outstanding job making all eighth graders be prepared for highschool!

As a former Blach student I can say that I really enjoyed my two years that I spent studying there. The best part in my opinion is the diversity of classes you can choose as electives. I took engineering for two years and it is a very engaging and informative class. Among other electives are journalism drama video production (in which students shoot and edit video clips for the weekly school video that is broadcasted during homeroom) and eco-action (students grow a variety of crops in the school's garden). The teachers are all very considerate of the students and can easily be interacted with. I also enjoyed the 3-level system for the math curriculum. The intermediate course I was in was just right for me. I would recommend this school to anyone in the area looking for a good middle school.

I really like the elective system at Blach. Each year you have the freedom to choose two classes that you find interesting. All the electives are fun and engaging but more importantly they push students towards new horizons whether it be a career in acting or becoming bilingual. I feel the elective system really helps you grow as a person.

Blach Intermediate was a great place for me to make my transition from elementary school to high school. The teachers were very helpful and were ready to answer almost any tough question put to them. The work was challenging at times but was never completely overwhelming a good balance for students. Every student was welcoming and friendly and I particularly liked how everyone has a chance to participate in social events and extracurricular activities through Fun Fridays and the after school sports program. Blach is a great place to spend your middle school years.

Blach is an outstanding junior high school in terms of academics organization and atmosphere. Activities events held both in and out of school allow students to try new things and enjoy themselves while simultaneously their classes give them an opportunity to challenge themselves. Blach not only prepares students for high school but pushes them well ahead of the average peer. In addition to this the diverse crew of teachers and faculty carefully watches each student progress and consistently reaches out to those who require assistance. Many teachers are not only knowledgeable but are thought highly of by almost every student on campus.

Georgina P. Blach Junior High School is an awesome experience. The teachers/staff allow students to express themselves and give a lot of attention too each and every student. They encourage students to mingle among each other. Lots of great projects and activities that really allow students to have fun and create great memories. Although there are some high expectations the students are always willing to learn. The elective selection is a great quality to have. The students can decide to take two electives out of a large amount. This school is a wonderful experience.

The school gives a great learning expirience. The staff is friendly and will work with anyone to help through-out the year. There is a great amount of balance to the craziest times of being in middle school. Your son or daughter will love Blach's expirience to help everyone pass the couple of years of Jr. Hight

Blach Intermediate School gives every student an amazing time. The teachers put so much effort to have the kids understand the topic. If a kid doesnt' understand a topic they will create some time to help the kid with the work. The school also lets students have a great time. They have Fun Fridays which are fun homeroom competitions and other interesting school activities. They have so many fun electives for students to choos from. At Blach Intermediate School students have a great couple years.

Blach has provided me with an outstanding middle school experience from the students who are driven to excel to the the teachers who have experience and a passion for teaching. The whole environment is comfortable and welcoming. Exciting activities include every single student and the only ones who are left out are the people who don't make an effort to participate. The teachers have fun while teaching you new concepts and you feel involved in every discussion or classroom activity. Not only is Blach excellent academically but in athletic activities as well. With a diverse student population and being outstanding in everything we set out to do I think Blach is a fantastic middle school and truly prepares you for the future ahead.

Georgina P. Blach Junior High School is an amazing place for 7th and 8th graders to advance both academically and socially. Teachers at this school make each class unique and challenging using their own abilities to relate to and encourage every student at the school. Along with the wonderful core classes offered at Blach the school also provides electives for a structured opportunity to learn things not taught in the typical classroom. There are plenty of opportunities during brunch and lunch to play games with friends compete with peers and mingle with the different grades. Overall Blach School has a great variety of teachers students and classes and creates the perfect path to high school over it's 2 years.

Georgina P. Blach Junior High is an exemplary school with outstanding courses. The staff at Blach push students to an extreme like no other. They allow the students to excede any goals possible. Although the budget has been an ongoing trouble within the past years the community there still manages to purchase items and commodities that aren't needed. The atmosphere at the Junior High is positive and exploding with enthusiasm. There have been many changes in the staff disrupting some of the students "relationships" with their teachers. Seeing the new additions to the staff though will intrigue you to allow your kids the privelige of attending this amazing school. There are groups though that may intimidate most children that won't fit in right away with certain groups but there is always an opening for a new member of the family. Georgina P. Blach Junior HIgh is exceptional school with essential attributes that will allow any child to grow physically mentally and emotionally.

Blach is a great school. Students are friendly and respectful to each other. There is no bullying whatsoever. Academics are hard enough so that students must work hard to succeed but not so difficult that students will struggle greatly. Furthermore teachers cover all aspects of the curriculum so the homework is not too difficult nor too time-consuming. Teachers are approachable and always willing to help students. Blach is a wonderful middle school that helps students overcome their weaknesses.

Blach School was an amazing school. All the teachers are motivated on helping the students achieve their goals. The teachers are always there when you need them no matter what. They just want you to do your best. All the teachers are beyond amazing and know what they are talking about. On the first day Principal was very welcoming and excited to have us. There were many activates including sports fun Fridays and dances! Middle school is the stepping stones to high school and I feel very well prepared for high school thanks to Blach. I will never forget my middle school experience and everyone should have that chance to get to know themselves. I learned so much at Blach and words don t describe how much I love it.

Excellent academics teachers are not only very good and care - some of them go the extra mile to get to know your middle schooler. Which is appreciated as a parent since middle school can be a socially awkward phase. The principal is amazing. The teachers and principal are a community they've worked together a long time and it shows. Both my sons learned a lot and enjoyed Blach. It's a wonderful school.

Blach is known for it's outstanding academic standards. Sometimes the pressure becomes too much and 2.0 isn't an average instead students think falling below 3.2 makes you stupid. This might seam harsh but that is just the area the school is located and we are the ' children of the future'. Some students even like how far they can push themselves to perfection and a perfect 4.0 isn't uncommon. Despite the pressure academically there is also athletic responsibility. Students are expected to run a mile at least once a month and participate in all activities fully- although this may be the same all throughout the country I did notice especially strict standards. Above all else (Acedimic and athletic) the school gives students a sense of pride. The students feel it the staff feel it even those that have graduated feel it. It's amazing.
