I was a student at Earhart from 1973 to 1975 when the name was changed from North Hollywood Continuation to Amelia Earhart. Mrs. R. The principal out voted the student body (we voted for Jimi Hendrix High)and chose Earhart. Even though it wasn't Hendrix High Earhart was still a great school.

Forget regular school Amelia Earhart is the best their is for students that are having a tuff time in school. The teachers are very supportive and will do anything they can to help you graduate they are down to EARTH people. You finishes classes faster than other schools but u still have to work hard. Semesters are shorter and u get multiple classes. i myself will graduate in less time than i thought.
I graduated from Amelia Earhart High a year earlier than I should have whereas had I stayed in the public high school I was in I likely would have dropped out. I went on to get a steady 4.0 GPA throughout college. Amelia Earhart was a blessing for me.
great school! smaller classes more teacher attention my son learned more here in 1 year than he ever learned in 3 years at north hollywood high school...
