California Standards Test (CST)

In 2011-2012 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts in grades 2 through 11; math in grades 2 through 7; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.

I graduated from this school recently and because of its excellent criteria and understanding family like environment i was able to get and maintain good grades. With all of the given resources my testing skills got better and so did my social skills the teachers there were always polite and offered any type of help they could and because of C.A.T.C.H's faculty and staff i was pushed to the edge of my ability resulting in my acceptance to one of the top UC's and i will now be attending UCLA in the fall Majoring in Afro American Studies.

I am an alumni from CATCH and to be honest this school was more than I thought that it would've been. Catch gave me the help and guidance that I may have not gotten at a regular high school. Ms. Pat is the best she stopped at no limit to get me into college as well as the other 90% of my graduating class and I don't know what I would've done without her help.

Please do not send your kids to this school. Kids are getting brainwashed by Pat who is not an educator. She is very unprofessional and doesn't know what she is doing with the school. She doesn't know anything about education; how can someone doesn't know anything about education run a school? Teacher and students have so much potential but just need a new leader who is willing to work for the kids. Not for herself.

School did not follow up with students or parents often principle cared about Fashion more than academics math English etc so sad I was truly disappointed. Need to restructure school and start from the Top.

I BEG OFF YOU PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE MY DAUGHTER WENT HERE AND DITCHED EVERY SINGLE DAY AND NOBODY TOLD ME AT ALL ABOUT IT I CAN'T WITH THIS SCHOOL THE PRINCIPAL IS HORRIBLE AND ONLY CARES ABOUT HER STEP TEAM

My child was missing several days of school without my knowledge and I never received a call from the school until my child was brought back to school by a police officer for being truant. When I spoke to the lady in charge she told me that they don't run after kids. This school is unorganized and unconcerned about the children's well being.

The principal is very understanding and helpful with all questions and concerns. Me as a parent was assisted in a timely manner. The customer services is excellent. The principal is very efficient along with teachers and staff. The teachers help there students and are very concerned with their education. I love the summer enrichment program to prepare new coming student for algebra and english courses this school is awesome and I'm glad the classes are small. The performing arts program is inspiring to student and the curriculum is excellent. School security is the best and violence is not tolerated and there are no fights. this charter school is underrated.

I graduated from C.A.T.C.H in 2009 and attended in since the 10th grade. It was the best experience ever it allowed me not be afraid to ask for that extra help. It has the best extra curricular activities that a school can have. Upon graduation I went on to a 4year university (black college) with the help of C.A.T.C.H
