The etchers and staff are passionate about education and the kids. I've had several over the years and every child love going to school and leading. This helps me as a foster parent. I'm blessed that Winnetka is our home school. Their after school program LA Best is the BEST.

Once you have been with this school enough you will begin to see the office staff and some teachers true feelings (not all some are really great teachers). But it is a team effort. Children are our future and for judgment on them at such a young age is not good for their mind self esteem and performance in school. Children that need direction to the right path need more positivity expressed to them and sometimes taught. Patience is a virtue. I hope the staff reads this.

I ended up at the last minute needing a school for my daughter and Winnetka Avenue's front office staff are the best! They helped me out and were genuinely concerned and helped me enroll my child. We are looking forward to a great year in 1rst grade.

My daughter hasfinished her pre-K here and is going to Kindergarten here. Her pre-k teacher was Ms Corso. I could not have asked for a better teacher than her. The most caring and the most vigilant of all the teachers I have met in my life. She is a great advisor and a great evaluater of her students.

I am thrilled with the progress my children are making at this school. The staff is very caring. There are many programs to help my child learn. The test scores are going up every year. There have been many recent improvements to the campus. It has a beautiful library and large playground with a nice play structure.

I have found the teachers and staff to be really great at this school. Many of the parents are not involved and don't seem to be able to help out their kids. Come on parents you get out what you put in to your child!!!! Lets make our community a great place to be!!!

My child has attended this school for two school years now and I have to say that I am quite disappointed in our school system today. There is never enough notice sent home for school events or activities. My child is only allowed to go into one restroom and it has been disgusting each time I have seen it. In September I was sent home an envelope to pay to join the PTA which I did to never once this whole school year be contacted by anyone to be involved with anything to do with it. There are 20/21 kids in the class - with a teacher assistant that is assigned to one child. They take extra time to do reading assignments because most of the kids can not understand English or have not learned it - and we wonder what is wrong with our kids today?
