Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT)

In 2010-2011 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the test.

As a former student and volunteer at Kenwood I have found Parents and Volunteers are not appreciated at the school nor welcomed. The atmosphere at the school is unwelcoming. The school did have many great teacher still has a few many have left with the former principal dictating the way they taught and many other aspects of their job. With this person gone maybe the school will be a better place for all.

I am a former student from this school. I now attend Foster Academy. I went there for 3 weeks in fourth grade and all since kindergarden. The fourth grade year we switched classes and we had so many pages of homework. It was awful. But now that the princable is leaving it is going to be okay. Many staff members are leaving this school because of her and it shouldn't be this way! I highly reccommend moving your child until things get better!
