If your child requires extra attention of any kind gifted or special needs this is not the school for him/her.

High rate of bullying administration hides this. I am a teacher with first hand knowledge.

AS the parent of a freshman I was impressed with the transition procedures in place prior to and after the first day of school

It seems that with Mr. Bishop's leadership the teachers are finally moving toward 21st century teaching practices. Keep it up you guys are doing a great job!

This is a great school. Parents are involved and the teachers are very well educated. I am an alumni and have had 2 sons graduate from Lee-Davis and my third child will graduate in 2011. I have had a child in the advanced programs and a child in the more modified program. Both programs are very good but it also depends on parents being involved. The faculty at LD are not completely responsible you as a parent must be involved. They also have a great choral program which has won several awards. I think going into the next 50 years we have a principal who is enthusiastic and will do a lot with the school.

My 3rd child is entering LDHS this year. In the years that I have put 3 children through the school there has been a steady decline in the quality of the school. The staff does not seem to want to deal with any problem that comes up. I think much of the problem is with the principal. He simply did not care about the students or at least that was the impression he left with me. Fortunately LDHS has a new principal starting his year and I am hopeful that he will do what is necessary to shake things up a bit and get the school back on track. He will have my full support.

Glad I don't have to put another child thru this school! Most of the staff doesn't care about the childs education. There have been a couple of incidents that are being kept under the table that should involve the law. LD needs a total staff cleaning....and not just the football program!

Principal needs to be accountable for all actions taken at his school. Does not work well with parents.
