Nokomis has wonderful support from our community through the Home and School Association and the Medford Lakes Education Foundation. The teachers are dedicated and devoted to both the students and to staying current with the best teaching and learning strategies.
This is an excellent school with supportive and caring staff parents and children. Together everyone encourages students to be lifelong learners curious about our world and excited about hands-on learning.
I think Nokomis has a very warm nurturing and caring learning environment. It is a great place for students and staff to learn and work .
This is a great community and a wonderful school district. The teachers care for their students and want them to succeed.
This school features an exceptionally involved parent organization which makes a decent public school become an excellent one. The teachers in pre-K and K are very dedicated and devoted and the principal is involved and takes her job seriously. The curriculum presented is good and the opportunities for learning disabled children seem excellent. There is very little enrichment available for gifted children however. In all I think it is a very good school mainly because of the parental involvement.
