We had two children in this school for three years. There's a bit too much religion involved with the NAZ coming in all the time. Both kids had one teacher who's just not very intelligent and really disorganized. Official papers and notices from teachers and the main office come home riddled with spelling and grammar mistakes. There are no busses and the streets are busy so prepare to drive them back and forth or leave even the kindergarteners to long unsupervised walks in the rain all winter. They offer breakfast but they don't allow enough time to get in to eat and to eat enough and our kids were always hungry and tired. The fresh snack program offered stupid things like raw mushrooms or radishes. Teachers frequently gave out candy during the day without our approval. The reading program was all done by computer and our kids had head lice *constantly* from the shared headphones. The staff is just mediocre at best. They will definitely prepare your child for a life in Medford working at Buy Mart or pumping gas. But if you want to prepare your children to do well in high school go to college and have a successful career in the world outside the valley consider moving.

I have read the other reviews and I am not sure what has happened to this school but it is possibly the worst school I have ever experienced. This is due to bullying that is wide spread at this school the 30 plus kids per class and there are so few teachers that they have begun to blend grades together. The principal Mrs. Miles is more concerned with scaring her students and teachers than understanding the root cause of the issues in her school. This school is looking for sheep and anyone who is outside of the herd than the school and teachers are not sure what to do with them. When the children go outside they have two teachers to watch over 100 kids at a time. If you are in this district than apply to go somewhere else or be prepared for bullying zero tolerance teachers and low standard teachers. I would not recommend this school to anyone and would encourage you to transfer out if possible You will not receive support or guidance from this school but rather plenty of judgement.

I cannot say enough great things about my daughter's experience at Roosevelt....and I cannot even imagine how much better it will be when we are back at our own campus in our brand new building! The teachers at Roosevelt really care about kids and the principal helps set that standard by supporting the teachers in return. Roosevelt has it all and it is really an undiscovered gem of a school in Medford!!

My daughter attended Roosevelt (Hoover campus) and it was an all-around great experience for her. She had an incredible teacher and was very bonded with everyone from teachers to playground monitors; even the principal. Everyone was great! I'm really sad to be moving out of district b/c we had such a wonderful year at Roosevelt!

Roosevelt is a wonderful school. The staff and students are kind and friendly. The diverse backgrounds of students mixes very well and parent involvement is high. My daughter has loved every minute of her years at Roosevelt.
