Washington Measurements of Student Progress (MSP)

In 2013-2014 Washington used the Measurements of Student Progress (MSP) to test students in reading and math in grades 3 through 8, in writing in grades 4 and 7, and in science in grades 5 and 8. The MSP is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Washington. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.

Great school that is student centerd. They listen to your needs and will go the extra mile to help all students. Caring staff and administrators who have high expectations and hold students to high standards. Are honest about where your child is accademically and help create plans to help students meet standards. Are not afraid to give an honest report on where your child is and where they need to go.

My daughter attended the 6th grade program this year. I was extremely disappointed. She almost never received homework except in math. When she did come home with math most of the time I had to reteach it to her . Prior to coming to this school district she received mostly A's and caught on to concepts quickly. I felt like this school year was a waste of time. I'm using the summer to try to help her with some of the things she missed out on this year.
