Bad Bad Bad Athletic Director (Fred Kenney). He harassed me after a football game. He also lets small children onto the sidelines of the field during the game. Also coach Todd Wilson is terrible. We have heard him curse "F" words to the children because they lost a game. I cannot believe it. This is completely unacceptable adult behavior. As adults we are supposed to be role models for our kids.

As a Mel Hi graduate I have found my education to be head and shoulders above others in the county.

I recently graduated from Melbourne High school. This school has a good mix of people from various type of backgrounds. I also like how the teachers are always there to help the students. The campus is the best in Brevard without a doubt! The big school is completed with brick and has a huge courtyard. Mel high offers a variety of classes (although I don't recommend IB). Finally its sports are the best in the area especially soccer (state champs back to back boys and girls) and cross country boys and girls (state). Mel-high is also good at baseball basketball tennis. Football is so-so.If you are thinking about what high school to attend Melbourne is the place to be! (I opted out of Palm Bay for Mel-high and was the best decision ever)

My son is completing his second year at Mel High. I am extremely satisfied with the guidance dept and staff. He is enjoys the school and I find that if you are involved and show concern for your child's education the staff is sure to recripocate. All of our neighborhood attends and they are well round good kids. One young man went from private to Mel High and is excelling in leaps and bounds... huge difference in his happiness quotient also....

I moved from miami to melbourne about a year ago and love it!! The school is great!!! It has alot of learning experiences and alot of extracurricular activities to be found at this school. The IB program is very good. It is just a well rounded good school. I strongley recommend it to all.

I have been attending Melbourne High School for 2 years now and have loved every minute of it. The school has lots of oppurtunities for students to excel. Some of the classes are even offered in honors preAP and AP. Most any extracurricular activity or sport can be found here. We have a great football team that went to the play-offs last year. Many of our other sports have done just as well. We have a fantastic music drama and art program. There are several different classes of each. Music classes include chorus band and orchestra. There is also a marching band which recieves 'superiors' at marching festivals. Parents are encouraged to be involved in their child's activities. I know that in band we need parent volunteers to help in the successful running of our program. I am proud to wear my green and white on Fridays.

My son went to Melbourne High School for 9th grade and so far I have been impressed with the quality of the teachers especially the pre-AP teachers and these classes. There are lots of extracurricular activities from music to art to sports. I am not sure about the level of parent involvement. I cannot give a glowing report about Mel High but on the other hand I have no knowledge of anything inherently negative about it. It is an A rated school.
