FCE is a fabulous school! We pride ourselves in being collaborative and constructive and encourage comments posted on this website to also be forwarded to staff. I invite parents to meet with teachers and myself with constructive ideas to continue to be the best school in serving students and their needs. I am excited to be back at this awesome school as a site administrator after teaching and a FCE parent when the school opened. My own children are on their way to college thanks to the solid foundation emphasis on character and morals this school instilled in them. I am proud to lead and serve at this school. Our efforts in becoming a Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Model School have been fruitful. Student motivation and achievement are "Soaring to Success!" Please continue to be a constructive partner in education by collaborating with us bringing your ideas to the school where we can be work together for the benefit of your children and our students! Horrible horrible school! They allowed my daughter to get bullied multiple times in class on the playground and in the after school program. Emphasis is put on over the top behavior problems and kids whom are emotional distrurbed are mainstreamed into the normal classroom setting. These problem chidren receive cuddle bears special seating special treats while the normal kids look on and are told these other children are "special." The parking lot is a nightmare where I have seen many parents cussing each other out and pounding on windows over parking spaces! Joke of a school with no multicultural diversity and many MANY mean students. Take your kids any where else but here. I wouldn't put these people in charge of my dog.

Oh this is an amazing school I miss going here so much. I also miss my friends Sophia Lara and Amarina Delacruz the most. They were the best of friends you could ever have.

My son started Kindergarten and I am very displeased with this school. Within the two weeks of school he started with one teacher only to be told at back to school night that she would be teaching a K/1 Combo and 12 kids had to go. Principal assured me that he would stay in class based on enrollment date only to get a call that he is changing classes. The new teacher has no volunteer opportunities for us since we were not in her class from the beginning of the year. We feel so out of the loop even when we try to talk to the teacher principal etc. I am definetly looking into Santa Rosa for 1st grade.

My children and the rest of my family really do miss the year round schedule.. I would love that again. The only problem is my children complain about bus 44 because the bus driver is mean. (?)

My kids have had a lot of wonderful teachers over the years and I am happy to say that Ms. Gabrielle Smith is the best teacher EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am really surprised by some of these reviews but not really since usually the people who take the time to do this are unhappy about something. I also believe that output is proportional to input. At Back to School night every parent was given the opportunity to volunteer in my son's class. So many did that my on my scheduled day there was often nothing left to do! I have been to spaghetti dinners mother- son dances there's movie night every Friday night. Short of sitting next to my son all day in class there couldn't be more opportunities for parent involvement . Principal Adcock is OUTSTANDING dedicated and approachable. I can only speak for one teacher Mrs Sunseri but her commitment to my son's success makes her hero worthy! To paraphrase EB White this is SOME School! Great job FCE! California Distinguished School I might add!

This school is not what I expected at all! There is no unity with the staff and administration the teachers are unpleasant the parents have no say so and are not taken seriously and the children are over-looked all of the time. I ended up pulling my child from this school and hopefully other families will not experience all that we have with this school. The district needs to look into this school but I'm afraid they will not experience all that we did in the 4 months we were there.

My son has been at FCE from Kindergarten and is now in 5th grade. As with any school I've encountered some teachers that I wouldn't have chosen but I feel my son has always been given a good learning environment with a positive staff attitude. There are a few exceptional teachers at this school that go over and above their duties and make every child they see feel special and respected . No matter what school you kids go to they will have some teachers that seem unconventional. I chalk it up to a good real-life learning experience. What work place is filled with only people that you like and get along with? Learning to work with even the difficult teachers is an important life skill that will help them be productive adults. I am an employee of the district and am proud to have 2 of my children here.

This is an awful school with teachers that could care less about the children with no respect for parental input

I am proud to be a part of Freedom Crest. I am a parent of a first grader and a teacher. This school is a pleasure to be a part of.

Freedom Crest has the highest involvement in the PTA in the whole district! The principal is super and so is the vice-principal! The teacher are hard working and care about their students. I am proud to send my child here! I think the enrollment says that many parents are glad to be at Freedom Crest!

Very disappointed in the parent involvement with there own children's well being. I have never been exposed to children with such terrible language attitude and behavior. My children only attened for 6 months and it was 6 months too long.

The teachers are great and worked well with my children's needs. It is a nice new school. The principal is awesome and so is the staff. Parent participation is low but the school makes up for it in many other areas. The year round schedule is great!
