I think Redlands East Valley is a very nice school that wants to see their students succeed

I am the Theatre Arts teacher at REV and we do not now or ever have had a Drama Club. We do have a Thespian Troupe which one can join when they have worked enough hours. Just wanted to clarify the facts. Break a leg.

Teachers do not completely understand what constitutes bullying of another child. Teacher stated the kid being bullied is not enrolled in my class so there is nothing I can do.. So so said the kid doing the bullying was in her class. I was very disappointed in this seasoned teacher. Not all the teachers have this attitude.

this school is okay the teachers are cool. But the annoying peacocks that don't quiet down at 7 30 in the morning get annoying its ALWAYS freezing in the morning there and the A/C's in the class blow cold air in the winter and hot air in the summer. They brag about getting a perfect score on the education scale yet they take alot of the credit on themselves. I guess this school is just like every other not perfect.....

i was shocked and disheartened by this school. They say that they encourage students to be active and most will say this school is very spirited. Though I must say when I was a freshman I was denied to be on drama club. They said they welcomed anyone who had love for the arts and wanted to be apart of it. Yet why were they so quick to say no because of my age? I never really understood but even then I do not think it was right.

Sorry to hear that some students don't love REV. As an active parent I encourage students to get involve in great programs like REV marching band or join Rachel Challege to make a difference. Opportunites and success are at REV.

My boys are graduates of REVHS and they have wonderful memories. The teachers were always available for assistance (when needed) and the career center offered vital support for their college applications. My oldest son was an editor for the schools yearbook and my youngest son was a member of the San Bernardino County Championship Mock Trial team. Both programs and AP English Literature were directed by Mr. Ed Berman who offered excellent academic character and leadership experiences. REV has many individual teachers who really make a difference and I feel fortunate to have been able to send my sons to this top-notch high school.

I have to admit I was skeptical about sending my son to REV since he had been in private school from 1st to 8th grade. I was afraid he would get 'lost' in the crowd of students academically. He is now a junior and I have nothing but good things to say about REV as a whole. My son is doing well in multiple AP classes and sports. Their football program is exceptional! I'm very happy with our decision to send him to REV versus keeping him in a private high school. The opportunities they offer are great!

Overall this is an excellent school. We moved into the Redlands area so that our boys could attend Redlands schools. our boys were AP students that were admitted to top 20 (nationally ranked) universities. The school has excellent academic programs. The AP programs in Spanish Physics Chemistry and History are especially noteworthy. The academically oriented extracurricular activities (Mock Trial Academic Decathlon Destination Imagination Speech etc.) are also highly regarded. Athletic programs overall are good to outstanding with aquatic sports golf and tennis being truly dominant. The teaching staff is also generally good to excellent even in the lower grade levels. The current administration is exceptional. The school comes off as a bit Abercrombie and Fitichish but if you keep your kids grounded at home they'll realize not everyone gets a new car for their 16th birthday (or even graduation). REV is hard to beat in the Inland Empire.

Redlands East Valley has been a great place for me to go to school. I am a straight A student in all honors classes. Thanks to my supportive teachers (Mr. Berman) AP English Literature Mock Trial and Odyssey Yearbook as well as our band director Ms. Glass for making my high school experience memorable. I have had an amazing four years. Many teachers at REV are just as supportive. There are many opportunities for involvement here and the more you're involved the more fun your experience will be.

I went to REV from 1999 to 2003. i enjoyed it very much the school was very new when i started and very clean during my four years there I made lots of friends enjoyed my classes liked my teachers and enjoyed school overall. The biggest down fall would have to be the lunch menu but from what I understand not all schools get to eat cuccas arbys mcdonalds and more so I guess I had it good. I also finished school with a GPA of 3.4.I highly reccomend this school.

REV is a wonderful school. The teachers are great the classes are clean and organized and its just a great place to be. it is probably the best school I have ever attended.

I am a senior at REV and I have been very happy here for the past four years. The comment about not being able to be happy if you are not in sports is false. I am not in sports and I have had the greatest experience in High School. I am an active member of Band Marching Band Symphonic Band Wind Ensemble Percussion Ensemble etc. and high school over all has been an amazing experience. It should not matter if you are in sports or not but it matters that you make your high school years enjoyable no matter what you participate in however it does not hurt to join a club or organization. I recommend joining band especially Marching Band. As soon as you join you automatically have over 100 friends who will warmly welcome you and be your friend through it all.

Both of my daughters graduated from REV. It is a wonderful school. They had tons of opportunities academically and in clubs arts and sports. I don't agree with statement about lack of diversity. The population is 50% minoriity 33 % hispanic and the rest are from all over the world!

Overall REV is a mediocre school it will only be pleasant if you play sports.

As a student at REV I feel like I am very blessed to go to such a wonderful school. In previous posts I noticed people mentioning the lack of diversity and Culture. While it is true we do lack diversity we certianly do not lack culture. We have many clubs that embrace cutural and ethnic diversity including Black Student Union Pacific Culture Club Desi Club and many more. REV has wonderful oppourtunties being a member of the Speech and Debate Team I have realized this first hand through competitions at other local schools. REV has a wonderful Career Center and a staff whose goal is to help their students prepare for a life past highschool. I know I will leave REV this year much better off than many other no REV students.
