My children attend Crutcho. From the office staff to the teachers and principal all the way to the superintendent I have to say these are truly amazing individuals. It is clear that they genuinely care for their students. Its not a large school but its not really small either. Whenever I make a visit to the school all the staff I come in contact with not only know me but know my children by name. They dont look at this as just a job. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

This school has come a long way and I am glad that I went here. I am excited every time I hear about more changes they are making. I've never written a review here and I'm not sure who did it. But I love this school and it deserves all the good that it is getting.-Gary C.

Crutcho has come to be an amazing school within the past 5 years. The violence fights disruption etc has pretty much stopped and the teaching staff is now an great mix of innovative and creative teachers. The superintendent Tereasa McAfee is amazing in her support of parents teachers and staff but is not a push over and gets things done. Things are improving every year and just keep getting better. The technology the school has is awesome too iPads Macbooks Promethean boards online access computer lab a multitude of online sights and activities for parents students and staff. Awesome place!

Fantastic and definitely a hidden gem in our community! This school has raised the standards other schools need to strive for. I applaud each and every one of the staff members and teachers for coming together in perfect unity for our children!! I am rating parent involvement a 5 because the school offers complete support and a very welcoming attitude with parents who wish to be involved. We're getting there but still have a long way to go!

The staff at Crutcho is 100 percent dedicated to the success of the students. I am a parent of a pre-K student and she has had a fantastic first year of school at Crutcho.

This continues to be a hidden gem of public education. The staff is excellent; delights in interaction with pupils and parents. The only thing lacking at Crutcho is parental involvement which would be applauded and celebrated by administration staff and teachers. There is some improvement in this area however there is a large base of community volunteer involvement from area churches that is very helpful. There is not a school that I would want my 4 children in -in this economy and world.

I love Crutcho School because they love all children. Each school year they get several students from local schools in the surrounding area . I know they make that experience very easy for all of the children.

They are going in one direction forward....they have a high quality staff that is working hard to help students reach high expectations for their learning.

I am a member of the Crutcho community and am proud to belong here. Our studentts are open and loving our teachers really care about each and every child and our administrators are focused on improvement every single day. Our support staff is the best; they are as professional a group as I've ever worked with. Every day I go to school wondering how I can better serve my students and their families. I don't want to fail them because they believe in me! At Crutcho we strive for success 'No Excuses No Exceptions!'

I have been here at Crutcho for 5 years now after leaving to go to another district in the cit. i was here for 4 years before and i would just like to say that our school has made tremendous gian over the last 5 years and we strive to offer the best education and emotinal care to our kids. Our staff has and continues to receive the highest levels of training in ares of math and reading and our test scores have increased by leaps and bounds as well. We offer after school programs until 4 00 3 to 4 days a week. Our community involment is picking up but we still need to have a greater parent base to help with the everchanging need of our kids and community. Please become involved with your childs school and help to bring our community together.

I am having a hard time with keeping my daughter in this school and the only answers I get are give the teacher a chance here its almost xmas break and still have not seen improvement. seems like my daughter is getting more depressed and they arent understanding her

I have worked at Crutcho for the past two years. I have seen many positive changes in the two years that I have been there. The administration actually cares about every student parent and employee at the school. In my eight years of teaching I have never worked for such dedicated caring people. I have heard many horror stories about how things 'once were' but I can assure you that things are nothing like they used to be. This is the 'New Improved Crutcho' with dedicated well-educated competent teachers. I would let any of the teachers here teach my own children.

Crutcho is doing amazing things to make the educational social and emotional needs a first priority. The behaviors of the past are now diminishing and more positive ones are taking their place. Teachers really care and go out of their way to teach skills their students can carry into the future.

Crutcho has come a long way. We have high quality staff and awesome administrators. We strive to provide the students with a positive and safe learning environment. We are a low performing school but you have to ask yourself with high quality teachers what are the students doing are they doing their work without behavior problems? are they doing their homework? do they strive to mastery and do their utmost best at the assignments? WE are teaching but we can't make the student learn. We can get the student to the school but we can't make him/her absorb the information. Student's are commenting that the school is the worst school they have ever been in why have they themselves been in so many schools are they the ones causing problems and distractions in the classrooms are they the ones not completeing their assisnments. Hmmm good question! Awesome School!

I am a parent that has two kids that go to this school. This school is a very good school and my kids love it. I will admit that they probably need to improve a little but they are doing their best. They are trying to get the community involved they had a community block party about a week ago and it was awesome and they had a parents dinner towards the beginning of the school year. They are doing their best and I think if your kids go here you should be proud. They also try to help families in need. They also have a really good program that allows them to be able to give each student a new coat in the winter. I am grateful that my kids got coats this winter because we did not have the money to buy them any. Crutcho is a great school!

The faculty and staff are really dedicated to each student. They work together to provide school and community activities that are fun for everyone. There is after school tutoring at least three days a week for those who need extra assistance as well as mentoring programs and sports. I enjoy working at Crutcho. GO TIGERS!

Hello I am a 13 year old 8th grader that attends this school at the moment and it is hands down the worst school i have ever been to in my life. The teachers are possibly the worst and the test scores are so low because no one even trys to learn anything. the just sit around and do nothing. Out of my 8 years of school this is the worst. i am the only kid in middle school with straight A's and i don't even have to work hard i just do basic assignments and turn the in. Do not let your kids go here unless you want them to be failures.-Gary Chaparro

This school is horrible! There is no discipline whatsoever here. When you walk down the halls at this school it is common to see students running and screaming and generally misbehaving. No wonder test scores are low. I would never send my kids here.
