I attend WCMS and I think that this school is one of the best schools in PA! The staff here is so friendly and they teach and explain well. The teachers know what they are talking about and if your child decides to go to WCMS and they are confused about anything the teacher is talking about make sure they ask the teacher and question these great teachers. Not to mention the school pride here is just out of this world and everybody is so involved in sports and extra activities. WCMS has great test scores on the PSSA's which is a state assessment . In fact Walnut Creek took 2nd in the state for the higest scores on the PSSA's. The PSSA's will test you on multiple subjects such as Math Reading Science and Writing ( Science and Writing are only taken in 8th grade) So what ever needs or qualities you are looking for I'm sure Walnut Creek has it!!!!!!!!

I am currently a student enrolled at Walnut Creek and I think that this is an awesome school. There is ZERO tolerance for bullying and nastyness. I am actually pretty new here but I still like it. The kids are all nice and everything. So I would recommend your child to be enrolled here! -Madison Kennedy 7th Grade
Walnut Creek is an OUTSTANDING example of what a middle school should be! The administration is exceptional! Students and families of this school deserve to be proud of their efforts. I feel very fortunate to be a teacher in this school.
The principal is very accessible at this school. The main complaint I have is the three grades are divided up into two teams and there are many differences in the teams in each grade. Some teams are alot harder on the students and give alot of busy work and a team in the same grade has totally different expectations. My son in 7th had a ton more homework and harder tests than his peers on the opposite team and that becomes frustrating for the sudent. Also one particular team in 7th grade has extremely punitive policies. If you forget something in your locker you get a zero on the assignment even if you did it. One mistake can lower their grade by a full letter. These policies lower the student's self-esteem and cause them to totally not like school. One strike your out!
My daughter is in 8th grade at WCMS and she loves it! The kids teachers and the general feel of the school are fantastic!
