I attended this school and must say it's truly putrid. What a horrible environment to send any student. You can listen to all the behavioral-apologists you want that still doesn't justify the lax disciplinary standards and the complete absence of true achievement. Send your child here and watch them get beaten bullied and encouraged to drop academic standards to a low that would make Louisiana blush. There are no redeeming aspects to this school except that your kid will know how to roll a blunt and make all the correct gang signs when they "graduate."

I am very happy with Northeast Middle school so far. My son is a 6th grader and is loving his classes. The teachers are very organized with the lesson plans and my son is being challenged by the work but not overwhelmed. He is in advanced classes with band and french as well. I am very satisfied with this school.
The best middle school in Minneapolis. The entire school is International Baccalaureate! There is an AVID Program. The student population is diverse and the teachers are caring wonderful and available. The Principal takes time with parents students and staff. The school is located in a lovely location on the Minneapolis Parkway System along St. Anthony Parkway.
This school is unsafe its principal doesn't take much authority. Student here are very rude very aggressive and/or violent.
