North Dakota State Assessment (NDSA)

In 2007-2008 North Dakota used the North Dakota State Assessment (NDSA) to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 11 in reading and math, and in science in grades 4, 8 and 11. The results for reading and math for all grades combined are displayed on GreatSchools profiles. Results represent students enrolled in the school for the entire academic year. The NDSA is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering the specific skills defined for each grade by the state of North Dakota. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.

Best high school my kids have been to. Moved here from out of state and had other high schools to compare it to. There are SO many classes offered that allow my kids to find a career path they are interested in and pursue it. We are really happy with Magic City campus!

I am military and Minot High is the best school I have been to by far. Academically they offer so many classes it is unbelievable. Teachers are good at what they do and counselors reach out to students often. Socially high school drama is obviously present but fights simply do not break out on school grounds ever. It is simply a laid back school with a lot of freedom to prepare students for the future. Arts and music are large part of this school along with sports. Football games may not be as huge as most but our basketball games are. There's also no obvious cliques making it easier for new students to fit it. Over all I love it.
