Both of my children have attended Woodburn Elementary since Kindergarten. They are currently in 3rd and 5th grades. The school allow the parent to be as involved as the parent desire. Numerous volunteer opportunities are available to be a part of your child's education. Communication is optimal and student/instructor ratio allows for maximal individualized attention. This is the only elementary school left in Morgantown that has the community feeling. It is surrounded by a walkable neighborhood and many dedicated parents.

My older children ages 21 19 18 went to Woodburn and my 6 year old went to Kindergarten and is in first grade at Woodburn. I purposely enrolled her at this school as it is a small more individualized atmosphere. All of my children have done very well there and I am pleased with the school's continued excellence.
