The Principal is very good. Not all the teachers are good I am afraid. My experience with a kindergarden teacher was negative. My child will not be going to the school as a result. I hope the principal will be given freedom to attract new talented staff and improve the school as a result.

I have had the pleasure of sending two children to this school and have had nothing but a fantastic experience. From the office staff to the faculty all the way down to the bus driver Ms. Betty. If an issue arises with my child we are made aware of it from the beginning not when its too late. It is a safe and secure setting which encourages parental interaction within the classroom. If you leave a message for a teacher...the teacher will promptly call you back. I couldn't imagine my children attending another school it has been nothing but a positive experience.
Our district is the best. Alfred Vail gets my vote because the teachers are excellent along with the rest of the staff.
Alfred Vail is simply the best. The school principal and teachers are just wonderful. Probably in the NJ's top 10 elementary schools.
