Rankin Ele rocks! We have national award winning teachers who care about the students. Also some of the teachers are former students! You know a school has done right if there are people who return to carry on the traditions!

Ida Rankin has the best teachers. I did not think I would like this school for my daughter at first but after meeting the principal and teachers I see that I was wrong. This will be my daughters last year there 'K-5' and I think I will miss this school more than her.

Rankin is a wonderful school! My kids love it and so do we as parents. We know that they are learning and that their teachers love them. Even though it is an open class set up (in grades 2-5) the children and the teachers are respectful and courteous of each other. This set up helps to build unity in our school. We are also a Blumenthal school and the rewards from this program are too numerous to count. Our kids have benefited greatly from this program in the areas of music dance drama etc. We won't move because we don't want to be out of Rankin district!!! The level of parent involvement is extremely high and that in turn helps with our test scores (which are always high too). We love Rankin Elementary!
