It has been a rough school year for Jefferson Middle School. Parents do it all at this school. They need the help of the teaching staff if they are willing to go the extra mile.

I do not believe the faculty here is the most friendly. The students appear to be able to get away with anything.

Most of the teachers are older and near retirement or so it seems. May have been great teachers before but great at boredom now. There needs to be some more younger experienced teachers. Also there is a lot of student issues among this school in the past year or so. I don't believe any of the staff does anything about it because they want to hide it especially the administration there.

You can't go wrong in Lebo schools and Jefferson MS is no exception. High quality education parental involvement and stellar teaching staff make it one of the top schools around.

The school and learning system is really nice but most kids are horrible and judge other kids. Many kids are put down. Social status is a big deal.

i hate this school and i hate mt lebanon. i have encountered many bullying incedints here that no one does anything about the guidance conselour wants no one to get into trouble even though people have to at some point. mt lebanon is the kind of place that tries to be perfect and wants it to look like nothing goes wrong. it's so stupid.

After attending this school in the sixth seventh and eighth grade I have a lot of input on this amazing middle school. The faculty is BEYOND phenomenal... they really get to know you and are friendly hilarious and make learning actually fun. The principal--Joan Zacarias--is amazing. She knows all the students' names and really has a grip on what occurs at school. Same thing goes for Robert Friel the vice principal. The school divides the grades by teams and there is a little bit of friendly rivalry between the two teams on each grade. I would say that one team is better than the other for each grade but that would be biased seeing that you are put into teams by your former teachers who know you best. Overall this school will always hold a place in my heart.
