I am a single mother of a current Hill Middle School Student. My daughter is a Type 1 diabetic. My daughter went from Kindergarden thru 6th grade in School District 204 and we moved out of the area only to return 1 year later. She was so happy to return to a new school where she did not know anyone and they did not make her feel like a stranger. I took a tour of the school with the Guidance Counselor. Everyone I have encountered thus far has been wonderful. Thank You Hill for your Excellance to Education.

I am divorced and my son came to live with me a year ago in Naperville. He was being abused by his mother and finally had enough and was ready to "start over" by living with me in Naperville. He was a little worried at first going to a new school for 7th grade where he didn't know anybody. I am GLAD that he went to HILL MIDDLE SCHOOL!!! He was able to discuss the abuse issues with his mother with the school counselor. The other kids were nice to him and he made friends quickly. The teachers were OUTSTANDING and really cared about each and every student and knew their learning capabilities and how best to teach them. The Principal has probably the hardest job but I SWEAR he knows EVERY SINGLE STUDENT'S name!! He is very structured and beleives in discipline yet is also very friendly and outgoing. I always see him at the school sporting events and is always welcoming to the parents with a smile and a handshake. My son has THRIVED in this school. He has more confidence better grades and lots of friends. He is currently on Naperville Football and Hill Football and he has an A- average in all of his classes!!! Hill is the place where your kids can get the BEST education!!

First of all support comes from home as much as it does from school. If you take the time to look into twhat is offred at Hill you will find so much to help your student. We have an 8th grader at home who struggles frequently...but as we have discovered with the different groups he participates in at school that he has done immensely better when he is involved in additional school groups. Our 6th & 7th graders both excel at Hill...they get more support here than they did in a 203 school where all those teachers care about is money. (have you seen how often they strike & when they choose to do it?) Hill and IPSD# 204 is one of the best districts in this country...proven year after year by test results. I will never remove my children from this amazing educational supportive environment.

This school has been a big disappointment. I feel my child has not recieved the support she needs and purhaps there is a program that the school offers that I have yet to be informed of. In the past I had experienced very good communication in terms of updated events and up and coming assignments I feel that the school is currently lacking in this area overall. I simply don't feel that this particular school has shown the type of over all quality that I have received from other schools in this district.

As a student at Hill Middle School I couldn't think of any other middle shcool in the area that I'd want to go to instead of Hill. I'm president of the student council at Hill and I absolutely love it! Hill is a great school and I think that any student would feel right at home here!

My twin daughters love going to Hill. They are identical down to the last freckle and people always get them mixed up. But not at Hill. The teachers and students at Hill took the time to get to know my daughters personalities.

My son loves Hill Middle! The principal is energetic and committed and the teachers we've had for 6th grade have been engaging. I feel Hill has an excellent curriculum that includes health industrial arts (with AutoCAD) music home economics and technology. The PTSA is also very involved and offers additional club activities for kids. We have not experienced any sports as they are restricted to grades 7-8.

Hill Middle School has received the State of Illinois Horizon Award which is only given to 10 schools in the entire state. Mr. Raczak the principal is extremely dedicated to the school and to making each student a success.

The Principal knows each student by name (as well as most parents). His genuine emotions about the welfare of each child is apparent in his animated tone. Along with this great ability to connect on a personal level with students the Principal leads by developing programs to include not just parents but the whole community. These programs challange us to take an active role in insuring the success of every students future. The team of teachers follow this leader by creating an environment of innovative and creative thinking allowing students to reach new levels of learning. To give one example the principal along with the PTA honors students for character qualities such as respect and leadership not just athletic or academic abilities reinforcing to students their interaction with others and how others percieve their positive participation is equally important. My son gained a clear advantage for his success after attending Hill.

I grew up on the NW side of Chicago so my family has been through many tough times in the Chicago Public School System. I must say Hill's entire staff work's extremely hard and long hours to make sure each and every child get's the chance to succeed in life. Thank you Hill. Olga Ruiz.
