Delaware Student Testing Program (DSTP)

In 2008-2009 Delaware used the Delaware Student Testing Program (DSTP) to test students in reading and math in grades 2 through 10, in writing in grades 3 through 10, and in science and social studies in grades 4, 6, 8 and 11. Only the scores for reading and math in grades 2 through 10, writing in grades 3 though 10, and science in grades 8 and 11 are displayed on GreatSchools profiles. The DSTP is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Delaware. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.

DTHS is a great school. Almost every one of my cousins and uncles graduated from Delcastle. This school has more and better programs than the other Career schools. In my opinion every child in tge state of Delaware should attend Delcastle. We all know that cant happen. So Delcastle pick the best of the bestest students in this state.

I like the school for its programs. My daughter is in 10th grade. My complaint is with the front office staff. There are three women working in there and they operate well below any poor level of effectiveness or efficiency. They are unpleasant and uncoordinated and apparently they don't get along with each other. There are two black women and one white woman and they are all sad - just sad. The need friendlier and more effective office staff.
