Regents Exams (RE)

In 2011-2012 New York used the New York State Regents Examinations to test high school students in English language arts, math, global history and geography, US history and government, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics and several foreign languages. The results for English language arts, math, living environment, chemistry, earth science, physics, global history and geography, and US history and government are displayed in GreatSchools profiles. Students must take at least five Regents Exams in order to graduate. Scores of 65 and above are passing; scores of 55 and above earn credit toward a local diploma (with the approval of the local board of education). The goal is for all students to pass the tests.

My daughter attended the school for a year she is currently a sophmore. She had a wonderful year last year. The school is a small school and dedicated to working with students who want to suceed. Those students are guided in the right direction. The school also tried to come up with solutions for students who are not doing so well. My daughter has begun the 10th grade with 15 credits went on two college trips and receives a lot of support.
