What I love about P.S. 1 is personal touch the teachers give to the children. When my children come home from school I asked them in detail about their day at school. I like what I hear. From listening to my children I know the teachers at P.S. 1 really care about their students.

I love PS 1 because I have 3 nieces that attend PS 1 and they are doing so well academically and it is because of the education and care they are receiving from PS 1. At the end of summer they are not upset that school is beginning they can not wait to start. Thank you PS 1

PS1 is more than a school - it is a nurturing community of competent and compassionate professionals who exceed at their vocations every single day. The entire staff and PTA of the Tottenville school are extremely dedicated to the education and general well-being of the students. The school has a spirit of mutual respect and cooperation among the staff students and parents. I feel very fortunate that my daughters belong to the PS1 family. Together we learn together we grow....
