My son has attended this school for 6th and 7th grade. He came from a Special Ed school for Gifted Kids in Manhattan and adjusted very well. The teachers are really amazing; they care and they respond to my inquiries. There are kids from many different countries here and they make everyone feel welcome. The school's small and nurturing environment has been a real plus for my son. And the Science Teacher is fantastic!

Parent involvement is very poor. There are certain teachers that take that extra step to go out of there way for the students. Unfortunately music was cut for '04-'05 except for band chorus and violin but the rest of the children were unfortunate to have music this year.

My kids have been here for a wonderful experience. The teachers are always helping. The principal is very concern about the safety of the children. In the academic programs they put extra help for the children in the city test they give after school program to make the kids understand make them more comfortable not being scared of the test. They do alot of sample test. The teachers are always reinforcing in spelling/reading languages for every subject. Parent involment is a regular basic.
