This is a great school that has an attentive and caring staff. The students are well engaged and pushed to reach their full potential. Even though funding was cut for after school the teachers stilll volunteer their time to give students extra curricular activities such as mime dance basketball robotics to name a few. I pushed for my daughter to go and I am very pleased all around academically and socially.

I ended up picking C.S. 21 as a last resort for my son. I never attended a public school before and neither did my son but I felt he needed a different environement. I was very happy with the ratings for this school and I decided that I would give it a try.. It was well worth the try and he adapted very well.

This is a great school i think that our african american children finally get noticed for the great things they can do rather than how bad society makes them seem today. I give this school an A+ !

This school is just like East Side High in the movie Len On Me. The the principle Mr. Anderson is just like Joe Clark he takes so shorts when it comes to his kids. Its a wonderful institution. And the teachers are so supportive and hardworking when it comes to teaching the children.

CS 21 is wonderful. I have visited on many occasions and am always pleased with what I see. It is old fashioned effective teaching. The children truly experience there learning through hands-on activities. My child has learned adorable educational songs done outstanding art projects and completed work that I feel is above her grade level (1). I'm more than pleased with this school. The teachers take a real interest in their students and create a supportive and fun learning environment for the children.

My daughter has been in this school since kindergarten. She is now in the fifth grade. Our years here at this school has been wonderful. They really take an interest in their students. Also at this school they have different activities for the students and programs to help where the child needs help. I would definitely recommend this school to parents who are looking for their child to get a good education.

The academic programs are excellent. My child is given an extensive amount of assistance to succeed in her academic program. There are many arts programs available after school as well as on the weekend. Parents are very much involve in their children's day to day activities at CS-21. The Parent Coordinator as well as other school officials are always willing to lend a hand or ear where needed. Eventhough there has been some activities within the neighbourhood a couple of weeks ago. CS-21's Staff steped in immediately and took many actions to safe guard our children. I wish there were more schools in New York City like this one. CG

My son loves this school because he was constantly challenged (K-3rd). I loved the constant encouragment and praises they give the students. The school is always finding new ways to hold the kis' interest. If we hadn't moved we'd still be there.
