The school environment is great. The teachers are great. The only trouble is that Mayor Bloomberg has decided that it is appropriate for a highschool to also be in an Elementary School. It does affect the peacefulness of the school.

This school has some of the most amazing teachers that I've encountered. They are well trained and are committed to the students. Specificially the primary teachers unfortunately some of the prep teachers and school administrator have some challenges working with students with special needs thank God for the classroom teachers. They go the extra mile to support not only the students but the parents.

Some of the teachers are really good at their job the school progressive the principal has great vision and the school is safe for the monst part. The best teacher is the fifth gread leader!

The assistant principal is rude and can be difficult to talk to. I had a good experience with the principal when I met her but she seemed a little on the chilly side the very next day. Some of the staff came off very rude to me and gave me a difficult time enrolling my child. If it wasn't for the difficult transition period my child would have I would take my child out. They could also use more extracurricular activities for the younger grades.

I find this school to have a horrible assistant principal. She is very rude and dose not know how to speak to Students Parents or the Staff. The rest of the schools Teachers and Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The Teachers that actually like teaching. They are willing to work with difficult students and still have energy left to work with the rest of their class. I think the school should have after school progeams for all grades whether the students need extra help or not.

I find this school to be pretty good. The staff are friendly caring and helpful to both parents and children. The staff are also honest with parents and they follow up when they are supposed too. The Classrooms and hallways are neat and clean. Academicly they could give students more homework and have more academic feedback for the parents other than report cards etc. They should also include more extracurricular activities for all grades. They could also improve on school dress code enforcement and encourage better behavior from students.
