What a wonderful school from the staff to everyone in between. I am very satisfied with how it's run and how safe it is. I never have to worry about anything while my children are in the building

This school is wonderful I graduated from sixth grade a year ago with lots of honors. I met wonderful friends and teachers and I really miss the school.

I really like this school. I believe the principal is doing a great job. No school is perfect but this one has been established for many years and I am very pleased with it. Great School!

In my other review i put 96 instead of 86 sorry. PS 86 RULES!!! it is true -_-

The new principal has no respect for the teachers nor the community and their needs. The teachers are over worked and are rarely appreciated which may lead to their extra stress on the children. The school puts too much stress on tests than on learning. One supervisor does not even have a NYS license to teach! This A school is way too stressful for children. Students are not given the services they are entitled to so you must advocate for your child. Children fall behind because there are always new teachers and the experienced teachers are forced out of classrooms to make way for the "Harvard and Yale" new teachers. This A school is A school that needs a CHANGE!

As a parent I'm more than please with the Principal Mr. Bernardo a great professional and all the teachers at the school. Ms. Sacks an A plus teacher Mr. Ambranson and Ms. Skiba among others. It's a great team.... Well done Mr. Bernardo!!!

This is an amazing school. The principal Mr. Bernardo is WONDERFUL! His professional yet friendly demeanor and his zero tolerance for bad behavior is to be commended. I am thankful to this school for the wonderful programs and opportunities that it has negotiated and made available to students. Not only does this equip them academically and socially it will also help mold their personalities to take pride and care about their success! I was in attendance at a meeting held by the school with the Community Education Council who wanted to change our school and merge it with a middle school and I must say that I was in a state of complete euphoria! The auditorium was packed to capacity! When our school was announced the cheer and pride was astounding! There was an overwhelming sense of school pride and unity that was simply AMAZING! Their principal is an great leader not only does he possess an admirable take-charge zero-tolerance attitude but he is warm and approachable friendly bilingual and understanding. This is without a doubt a great and enjoyable school to be a part of!!

One of the reasons I like this school is because all the teachers my child has had understands me as a concerned parent. Both the teachers and I work mutually to improve my child's grades.

Its definately an A rating school Family atmosphere. Super safe and the Teachers are great and very knowledgeable.Lots of activities and trips and the entire staff takes a personal approach and concern to each child. I couldn't have put my daughter in a better school. Its right up there with the privates schools I feel if not better than some.

They have the best kids in all of New York. And the cutiest too! They are so loveable and respectable. They are the best! And this school has the best teachers. The teachers care about these kids and they teach them what the world is going to throw their way in the years to come. This is New York they're young now but they will survive and they will remember their thrid grade teacher in many many moons to come...

The teachers are invested. The staff and administration are supportive to both the teachers and the parents. It is an environment where everyone works together and is continuously learning. The students are always put first.
