My husband and I like this school it's small and they are helping our kid with everything he need..

Maple is a hidden gem. The class size is great. The teachers are extremely well trained and try their best to individualized their approach to the needs of the student. ALL STUDENTS. They don't just focus on one population but work with all the children as individuals. This approached has worked well for my child who in general education is very bright tests well but was having severe difficulties at our neighborhood school (due to Aspergers and sensory issues). Upon choicing my kid to Maple I found a knowledgeable and supportive team whose mantra for the kids to "be your best" is taken to heart. Mr. Santos is wonderful with the kids and is truly involved. Maple could use more funding to bring in more culturally enriched programs like drama trips to the civic arts center and yoga. But their Art Masters program is really good. And this year my child is enjoying music class. Maple doesn't teach to the test but teaches to the students need. Though test scores and standards are important they want to make sure each child leaves knowing how to read write and do math. And they wants students to have a good foundation and be able to think and problem solve.

Absolutely love Maple Elementary! The teachers are caring and enthusiastic the principal is very involved and knows all her students the PFA energetically fundraises and provides a myriad of additional programs and parent involvement being very encouraged is extremely high. One of the many special things about Maple is the annual jog-a-thon where ALL the money the kids raise goes to charity. I feel blessed that my girls attend such a school that not only excels at educating but also works toward developing good moral fiber!

In 2008 I used the school choice program to get my oldest son into this school when he was in second grade. My youngest son has been there since kindergarten. Maple is an excellent school that has involved parents dedicated teachers an effective PFA a caring office staff and a knowledgable principal. My sons have special needs and Maple was an a great fit for them. The students at Maple are compassionate and accepting. The teachers are willing to make accommodations for students' different learning needs. This is an exceptional school.

Maple Elementary is an idyllic school a wonderful place for learning. It is a small school where children are accepted for who they are no matter their background or abilities. It is a place where a child can feel part of a family and community. The Parent Faculty Association works hard and welcomes all who would like to help make Maple the best it can be. As education budgets get cut the PFA helps secure that Art Music Field Trips Community Service and the Science Laboratory program remain at Maple. As a parent I have been more than happy with my child s academic success and overall experience at this school.

The teachers are mediocre and bordering on gossipy. The academics are sub par. The PTA has far too much power at this school. he Principal is just a figurehead.

I am not only a parent but was as well a student. I have 3 children whom have all attended this school as well as a couple other schools my son attended. This is by far the best elementry school around. I have lived in this area for 41 years.

Maple has been an excellent place for our children to learn and grow. I love their Art and Music programs. The teachers make it fun for the students to learn and to be engaged. I love the smaller school environment. Lots of parent opportunity to be involved. PFA works very hard at balancing the students entire experience.

Maple Elementary is an amazing school. The principal is very knowledgeable and dedicated. She is in it for all of the right reasons as are the very dedicated teachers. Maple is a community of families that supports the values and ideals we uphold in our family. There is no shortage of opportunity to be involved and there is a commitment to music art and P.E. The academic program is excellent and a real effort is made to address the needs of all students. I would love to see the institution of a GATE program.

Maple used to be such a great small school. They have now instituted a new program called 'The O.R. room' where the children must go if they dont' bring in every piece of homework. It's basically detention even for 1st graders! The new principal has brought a different feeling to the school. It's not as warm and welcoming as it used to be.

Happy with school and teacher(s). Very unhappy with children's enrichment program. The program is not very organized and not all children that need it can attend. So much for no child left behind!

Last year maple elementary attempted to help my son with his learning problems. I was very pleaseed by what they tried to do. There is a new principle now I hope this doesnt change anything.

This is a great school. It is an extension of your family. You are always welcome to participate and get involved to the extent of your choosing. The teachers are always available and willing to communicate. My kids love maple and all the staff.

Maple is a great school with an exceptional staff and enthusiastic PFA. It is a safe happy environment for kids to reach their potential academically. The teachers are great at communicating and keeping those lines open for the parents. There is plenty of opportunity to get involved should a parent be inclined. Any child would be lucky to attend Maple.
