Fessenden is a wonderful school! Our son is going into his 6th year there and we couldnt imagine him anywhere else!! They truly understand boys and we've been extremely satisfied with the academics!

The school is a hot mess. Priorities are completely out of line and they continue to sugar-coat it. The children ultimately pay the price because the faculty and staff are at a constant battle with leadership and administration. The school wants your $$$ at any and all costs. That's the bottom line. They would rent your child out to another family if it meant more $$$ for them.

We were pleased with our lower school experience but the middle school is a disaster. The attractive looking campus should not seduce families into thinking that the academics are also as well tended. Teachers are not held accountable for lesson plans there is minimal reading and writing and students' educational needs are largely ignored. Very disappointing given our generally positive lower school experience.

If you aren't a jock...forget it. Sports are king. All the teachers are jocks too.

This school is terrible. I am an alumni and happy I left. Kids bully you and the teachers do nothing not to mention the price. Do not get involved with Fessenden.

I just graduated Fessenden. It was the best experience of my life. The Staff and Faculty were great but what was really special were the the connections that I made. Never have I been so proud of a group of people. My best friends came from that school. Whether it was raiding the teachers lounge at midnight or going out on the roof of the dorm I had my best times there. While the modo bringing out the best in boys might seem corny it really is true. The only reason that I would not recommend attending Fessenden is because of how sad it is when you have to leave.

Fessenden School has given my son a great education. Parent and Alumni Jim Michals has done a lot to help the school by providing his knowledge of a great hockey facility . The Fessenden Rink has a new facelift ! Two rinks a synthetic treadmill new locker rooms and skating shop. The whole Fessenden community is grateful!

Just an outstanding school. They truly understand the boys and offer excellent academics as well as incredible opportunities for the boys to experience extra-curricular activities. Now that we live outside the Boston area (and are struggling to find a school 1/2 as good as Fessy for our boys) I wish we could give the school 6 stars.

Outstanding school. Our son is so happy there. Could not ask for better. We didn't think we'd end up at an all-boys school but now we are so happy we did. "Bringing out the best in boys" sounded like just a slogan until we got there. They really mean it. They do it!

Fessenden is a fabulous school which has done wonders for our son. He is currently entering 7th grade and has been there since Kindergarten. The academics are excellent as well as the sports program. The faculty is both caring and supportive and the small classes sizes are great for achieving personal success.

This school is overall perfect. I have been going there since 5th grade. I was in public school and i was young for my grade so going into 6th grade i decided to repeat my year and enter fessenden as a 5th grader. This is by far the best decision I have ever made the school taught me how to study be prepared and to be organized. The school also allowed me to excel in sports I love the school so much words can not describe.

Fessenden is an awesome school that gives you the perfect boarding life experience as a student. I have gone to Fessenden from 5th to 8th grade and I now have great memories from going there.

This is my 3rd year attending Fessy. I went as a 5 6 and 8th grader. As you can see I returned to my public school for 7th grade and that was a terrible mistake. Fessenden is an exceptional environment and if you appreciate the education you receive there you will love it.
