St. Pius the X is a great school! The school is full of wonderful families children faculty and community! Our children are thriving with dedicated warm and caring teachers. We enjoy going to school events because they are well organized and we enjoy spending time with the other families. As parents we are so happy our kids are being taught to be good citizens and values such as integrity honesty respect being kind to others and helping others. Thank you to Sister June and all the teachers and staff for creating a fun happy environment! We are so thrilled we discovered this gem of a school.

I moved to Montville for the schools. I sent my child to St Pius for preschool and decided to continue his education there. The school is amazing. Sister June is a wonderful principle. She makes sure every child counts.

Our children are thriving at St. Pius X School in Montville. From the moment we enrolled our children in St. Pius X School we knew they would not only learn but they would be loved and well taken care of. In addition to a superior curriculum and Humanities program the students attending St. Pius X School are taught respect for all people the value of family and community integrity and are endowed with self-esteem and strong character. We feel that the staff at all levels demonstrates an incredible commitment to the children and their well-being. They lead by example and embrace family participation in the students learning experience. We encourage families to visit St. Pius X School and see all that it has to offer!

My children have attended St. Pius X School since PreK4 and they are now in 6th & 3rd grades. I love this school! Our outstanding principal Sister June sets a tone of love and acceptance which is felt throughout the school. I am always amazed at how the teachers manage to find the best in my children and accept their quirks without issue. And I love how in this Catholic school religion/values are worked into discussions throughout the week. Religion isn't just something you think about on Sunday morning. This is an incredible school where 'you are loved first and taught second.' But the academics are also stellar in some cases a full grade level ahead of the public schools.

My daughter went to St. Pius PK3 & PK4. The school is exceptional she absolutely loved it. She is on the shy side but felt welcome and loved - and had the opportunity to participate in school Christmas shows gym music library and art and forged many friendships with both the boys and girls. The school is also academically orientated and I feel she is more than ready to start Kindergarten in Sept (Valley View Montville). If for some reason I am unhappy with the public school system I would have no hesitation sending her to back St. Pius.

I think the school is very good. But tuition keeps going up and up.

My son is in the PreK program and is at a higher level than the kindergarden students in my public school. I am in a neighboring town and am unhappy with the schools. My wife and I researched area schools and couldn't find anyone that had sent their children there that were not completely satisfied with the school overall. I know people in that town that would rather send them to St Pius than the public schools. I think that is saying a lot since the Montville public schools are some of the best in the state. I am glad that my son will continue in kindergarden next year and my daughter will be transfering from the public school to St Pius for 2nd grade. The principle and teachers are caring people that have the children's best interest at hand. St Pius is teaching at or above the public schools.
