My children attended this school for 3 4 5 grades. We had an outstanding experience here and have fond memories of the school. I am surprised by the low rating because they have top notch teacher who truly care. Security was good here and I felt like they were safe when they were at school.

This school kicks butt. Parents who complain that it is too hard for their kids need to put some time into catching them up to academic standards. My son does great A/B honor role and my girl struggles - but that s on me NOT the school.

My daughter started there in Kindergarten graduated into middle school the school and its staff were there for me when I was expecting my second daughter had her and she attended their school until Oct 2011 when she was hit and killed. I absolutely recommend Lee Antonello E.S to any parent who is looking for a great school..the staff is absolutely amazing and I have total trust in leaving my children in their hands!

I personally had a bad experience. I moved my daughter there to start 3rd grade and unfortunately it was not what I expected from a "5 star" rating school. She was left with substitute teachers throughout the year. Of course nobody was on the same page and she was not learning anything. She went from b & c grades to D's. Now I'm looking into an virtual on-line academy. Just had bad luck I guess...........

Antonello leaders believe that they know what is best for kids. They push so hard that my kids are starting to hate school. They don't read books at this school they just analyze books and take bubble tests called "cold reads." The writing standards are so high they don't even include writing grades in A/B honor roll requirements because no one would make it. It is safe and there are lots of family activities but the kids have to put up with too much pressure all day long. Their state test scores are going down I'm sure because the kids are burned out and bored. The leaders need to realize that if it isn't interesting the kids won't learn it. They also need to understand human nature...if you make bad grades in something no matter how much you try you will give up. And no my kids aren't failing they are on the honor roll so don't think I am a disgrunled parent. Stop the test prep and go back to educating our children please!

My daughter attended Lee Antonello for K and 1st grade. The staff is very friendly and professional. My daughter was excelling in reading and the teacher responded to my request to challenge her more by urging her to choose higher level books to be tested on. PTA is great and are always having events for students and parents!

Our daughter attended school at Lee Antonello for five years and had a wonderful experience. We feel that parents are included the teachers are outstanding and the administration is excellent.

Lee Antonello has great staff and administration. I have had my four children at Lee Antonello for a total of 18 years and have never had problems with any of the teachers. The empowerment program is amazing as are the positive reinforcement and incentives for children to perform well academically and have good behavior.

When my son was in elementary school he had difficulty learning to read. Besides insisting that he be tested for a learning disability (which he had although mild) I took him 3 times a week to a Sylvan Learning Center. It was kind of expensive at the time but the change in him and the change in how he accepted school and learning was very worth it! But the help he received from the SLD teacher (who was not wonderful) was not worthwhile!!!

There are so many opportunities for parents to become involved with supporting their children's education. With open communication between parents and the principal the students benefit. We love Antonello!

Both of my children have attended Antonello. I think the staff at this school is great. It starts at the top. Mrs. Reese is very concerned with the quality of the education all children receive. She has campaigned to make Antonello an Empowerment school and this is going to make the school even better. The test scores are consistantly in the top percentile while maintaining the level off fun each child needs. My son has moved on to middle school and is always saying how much he misses the structure of Antonello. My daughter is a 5th grader and the ciriculum is perfectly suited to preparing her for middle school. The Explorations classes offered due to the Empowerment schedule are a fun way for the students to feel they have a say in what they learn. Antonello is the best elementary school in the CCSD.

My Son has learned so much from his Kindergarten Teacher Mrs. Giblin. This is a great school to send your children to. There are plenty of extracurrucular activities and plenty of parent involvement. Not to mention that this school is in a very nice masterplanned community. You wont be dissapointed!

Outstanding school and staff. Centrally located in a master planned community. The teachers are wonderful and will go above and beyond to assist parents. I give high ratings for their front office staff members especially Mrs. Kim Kangas. My children have excelled wonderfully in this school for the past 5 years. I give Kudos to Mrs. Flemming Mrs. Baldwin Ms Killen Ms. Kangas and Mrs. Lyles for being exceptional teachers. Mr. Leggett the librarian inspires children's imagination with the written word. Mrs. Biddle & the rest of the PE staff strive for the students to perform at their best and to have fun doing it. My only complaint is that one day we will have to leave the school.
