As parents of a Birch student we are extremely pleased with the way this excellent school is managed. The principal Mr. Samerigo is top-notch and truly cares about his students. Mrs. Stanko is great as well and is a top professional. I cannot say enough about the excellent teaching staff as well. Mrs. Mahle is a godsend too.

Discipline seems to be a consistent problem here.
This is an excellent school. The Administration is no longer in the building it's now the third grade wing. The entire staff is great. They are friendly and easy to talk to. We've never had a problem. I will miss Birch when my kids are gone.
Birch school has been wonderful my daughter has been there since Kindergarden and each year I think her teacher is the best until the next year when her new teacher starts! She is now in second grade and has Mrs. Kestner who has been a terrific help with my child!!
I have found the teachers to be dedicated. However the school building's condition ranges from poor to average. The North Olmsted Administration takes up half the building and the students are crammed into the remainder of the school. The gynnasium ceiling is in poor repair and the parking/bus situation is unsafe and difficult to navigate.
