We had a great expierience in the district up until this point. Fourth grade was awful. The teachers assign large projects frequently and have the kids present them to the class while they sit there sending texts on their phones. My son a few times brought home tests and homework that had corrections by the teacher that included misspelled words and grammatical errors. 5th grade and 6th grade were a little better but not much. If your child is assigned one of the teachers that is also a coach you should expect a year of busy work with a substitute or just being sent to sit in another classroom.

Our son is currently attending Riverside Kindergarten center and has already learned to read over 100 words. They study such a variety of topics ranging from their bodies to outer space and each topic seems to be covered in a perfect amount of time so that the children never lose interest in the currect topic and are excited for the next one. They provide computer time music art library and gym in their weekly cirriculum. The teacher for my son is fantastic and very patient as are the other teachers I have heard about. I am permitted to come into the classroom anytime and participate with the kids.
