This town underfunds its schools and I believe the children are being shortchanged. The school principal is not open minded and plays favorites and many of the teaching staff members themselves lack good literacy skills. I find misspelling and errors on communications from the school.

While there are some very good teachers in this school others are not so bright. The school lacks good administrative leadership. I have found the principal to be close minded and quite unfair at times. She doesn't always listen to all sides of a story.

I have two children attending NSES. My 9 year old son has been there since preschool and we have had very positive experiences with the teachers and administration. We have found it to be a very nurturing environment and feel our children are getting a quality education. I highly recommend this school!

I cannot express in words the serious need for reform this school needs. The entire administration and the majority of teachers and support staff (especially the new ones) present deplorable attitudes and a display complete lack of respect and little accountabillity. This school provides our vulnerable children with a hidious example of personal character. This school is in need of substantial grave reform.

We have children in kindergarten and 2nd grade attending NSES. The teachers are very good and we feel our children are getting a quality education. The school did have some issues with mold leaking roof water supply air quality...but those problems have been fixed. The school committee and administration should have handled the problem better. The teachers are very friendly and work well with the kids our children seem pretty happy. We used to pick our children up versus taking the bus they could have been a little more diligent about checking IDs. Our children now take the bus and our driver and bus monitor are excellent. The school and classrooms seem to have sufficient supplies curriculum is great and the environment is clean and safe. With all that said I think the school is very good the administration just had some issues to overcome when the school was first built.

The teachers & principal are excellent. My Child is more knowledgeable than other children in my family attending other top schools. No playground and no extra curricular activities available. Mold was a problem causing a delay in the schools start last year 2003. Administration office not quite together not very friendly. School is very clean and well maintained. Secure safe location off the main street. My child loves going every day. Bus rides very convienent.

Serious indoor air quality issues lame administration no communication with parents overcrowded water issues the list goes on. Teachers are the only positive part of the school.

My child is in NSES. What a school! The Teachers are wonderful they really care about the children. The Principal is equally as wonderful. The air quality issue is not what alot of 'people' believe it to be. Do the research it says it all. I did...and my child has special needs.

I have two children at this school. I am proud to say that I feel that they are receiving a top quality education in a safe environment. The air quality issues that may have existed in the past have been remediated and the air quality continues to be monitored. It is a wonderful school with enthusiastic teachers who inspire our children!
