Community ratings & reviews

My daughter is happy well adjusted and challenged by the education she is receiving at NYMS. She has an opportunity to try new things in a caring and structured environment. The teachers seem to be well educated and excited to teach as well.

Teachers and administrators are caring environment is safe and nurturing. Setting in the "woods of Maine" is idyllic away from the craziness found in more urban states/ areas.

This is a fantastic school system with very respectful kids. Wonderful supportive community with a strong focus on education and extra curricular activities as well.

It has a warm and caring ambiance of mutual respect maintained by its teachers and students.

This is not a great school for children with special needs. In particular children with autisum spectrum disorders may have a difficult time there is little understanding of this disability and a lack of balanced leadership.
