We are absolutely thrilled with Marin Christian Academy - we transferred our 5th grade daughter this year and she has gone from being a C level student who hated school to an A level student who LOVES going to school - her spiritual/emotional life is now being enriched in addition to the academics and it has changed all of our lives for the better and we couldn't be happier. The teachers administration and staff are a pleasure to deal with and the principal is GREAT. I would highly recommend this school to anyone!

This school gives children a great chance to learn about the Father above. They also have excellent teachers I had a middle school student that went here for a year and said that they really connected with the teachers including myself. The only thing I would change at this school is for them to be more attentive. For example if my child had a problem with a fellow student or classmate then I want it to be addressed and handled properly.

We searched for a school for our two children that met these 3 criteria 1) high academic standard 2) high moral standards 3) small classroom to teacher size MCA has exceed our expectations in these 3 areas. We are very happy with our children's teachers and wouldn't want them to go anywhere else. In public schools the risk of children losing their innocence is too high. We are very comfortable in knowing that moral standards are upheld and respect is expected. In MCA our children are learning about Jesus which is going to serve as a solid foundation for the rest of their lives. We are so fortunate to be able to attend this fine institution.

MCA is one of the best if not the best K-8 school in Marin. We had three sons go all the way through MCA and our experience was great all around. The academics are strong because the teachers are excellent and they really care about the kids. Parent involvement is strongly encouraged. All three of our kids went on to graduate from College including our oldest who is in a PhD fellowship at an Ivy League school. Highly recommended.

While the school is a good Christian environment but a lousy school. Which begs the question 'Why pay top dollar for a lousy learning environment?" The teachers don't have credentials. I noticed during our stint there that some of the TEACHERS couldn't even speak proper English. A lot of slang dangling prepositions and improper conjugation. I thought it was strange that a school would have uneducated women teaching children. Not worth the cost of tuition. Great for a Sunday School atmosphere but not for parents who want the best education for their children.

My children attended the preschool and are currently enrolled in the elementary. This is a great school to be a part of. Every parent can be actively involved in their children's education with the volunteer program. The academic level is very high and I look forward to my children progressing through middle school here.

My daughter attended Preschool for the past 2 years. In general I am satisfied with the quality of the care she receives. Friendly staff fundamental Christian teaching and down-to-earth environment. She learned a lot songs and vocabulary at age 3. The staff are patient and caring to potty-train the preschoolers which is rare in a regular daycare facility. My only complaint is their facility-they use their parking lot for dual-purpose. The children use it as playground during recess which is really close to a busy street and freeway. While it is gated during recess hours I would still be concerned about safety and healthiness of the kids playing there.

Excellent School! Teacher-child ratios are awesome and my daugter is thriving in every subject. This school offers spiritual development academics sports music and an opportunity for my child to learn life skills that she will need as she gets older. She will definately be a step ahead of the rest when she goes into High School.

I have had two of my children graduate from MCA and currently have an elementary student enrolled. My children s test scores where post high school at MCA and they have matriculated extremely well into a local high school. They are team captains and leaders in student government at the high school and are on track to attend college. MCA provided an excellent spiritual and academic foundation.

Fabulous student-teacher ratios and learning environment. My child and several classmates were reading at middle and upper elementary levels at the end of first grade.
