We LOVE OLL! Our son is the 5th of five children and we have had the mixed blessing of living in different cities experiencing a variety of schools. OLL has fabulous teachers who all clearly deeply care about the kids. They are all easily accessible when you have questions. Homework and grade progress are posted online making it really easy to see how your child is doing. In talking to "big brothers" and "big sisters" of our son's friends they are all doing great in HS and have wonderful memories of their time at OLL. We are thoroughly enjoying being part of a very active & supportive parent community and can't say enough great things about this school!

As a former teacher and current parent I highly recommend this small Parish school in Novato CA if you are looking for a learning environment that cares about your child's well being. Class sizes have a favorable teacher/student ratio although I can tell that enrollment has increased significantly this year and may vary somewhat by Grade. Rather than going by reading reviews however I would encourage people to call and schedule a Tour. Seeing is believing and you can ask as many questions as you want. Quite frankly this was what sold us on the school. Sure it lacks 'shiny doorknobs' but the welcoming smiles of the students the energy of the faculty and the sense of welcome you get from parent community as a whole make more than up for it.

Low enrolled school. Standards and quality have gone low. Administration needs to look into their staffing. Families have started to leave. A lot of issues that require immediate attention.

We are so impressed with this school and happy we ignored rumors about "low test scores" when we enrolled our son. The most recent test scores show that OLL 8th graders read at 11th grade level their math scores are at 10th grade level and Science at 12th (!) grade level. Now that is academic excellence. It is no wonder OLL students do so well in high school and are in the top of their class!

Both my children attended Our Lady of Loretto since Kindergarten. The academic and faith foundation that they received there enabled them to excel into high school. But more importantly the morals and values that were continued there by the faculty and staff were such a gift to my husband and myself. Both of our children are strong independent and caring individuals who make us proud every day. The OLL community has helped to form them into the people that they are today.

Our Lady of Loretto School was a wonderful example of Catholic education at work. My daughter attended OLL for 9 years and was fully prepared to move on to the next step of her educational process - high school. She was given a strong foundation in our Faith and the OLL staff and community along with her homelife helped her form a good sense of what is right and wrong and respect for herself and those with whom she comes in contact..

My daughter has attended OLL since Kindergarten and is now in the 8th grade. I am so pleased with her spiritual emotional and educational foundation which will prepare her for high school and beyond. I would highly recommend the school to anyone looking for a good quality Catholic education.

My daughter attends this school. She has had such a wonderful experience that I would not dream of switching her to any other school. The teachers are awesome especially Mr. Michael Solis. He is the most caring and structured teacher that I have ever known. The Principal is very caring and takes time out to listen to your concerns. I really love this school!!

This school is a hidden treasure. I would recommend this school to everyone. Our child has become a caring and conscientious contributor to the community and society. He is as an academic contender and has been solicited to participate in prestigious high school summer programs. His success both academically and personally is a direct result of the teachers and the principal and staff of this school. I am forever grateful.
