The school produces upper level professionals lawyers doctors engineers with each graduating class. Mastery of studies is achieved by each student to the point that no area of academic endeavor is closed. Perhaps the tuition is a bit high given the limited facilities and closed environment but the faculty is the best and their students are the best. I hope that in the forty years that I graduated K-F the government has not watered down the program.

My son will be entering kindergarten this upcoming fall. Everything that I've seen and experienced so far of this school has been excellent. I definitely think it's in the league with Manhattan's private schools - (we have some experience - my son went to a preschool program on the west side which was wonderful). The KF School is excellent and my son just can't wait to start!

From a current student at KF this school combines the best of a classical education with the best college prep can offer. KF has seen its hard work pay off in the recent college admissions George Washington Brown University of Pennsylvania Tulane to name a few. This school is definitely on par with some of the great private schools in Manhattan such as Collegiate Dalton Browning and Trinity.

Take it from a student - KF is amazing. Although the school maybe small and people don't really know about it each student has potential that teachers bring out in them. I am so proud of all the work that I've done and I'm incredibly thankful for the teachers who help out in the best way possible. Each teacher assists a child individually if they notice the child is having trouble in a subject and make the lesson work for the child in way of explaining that just works! It's worked for me! To be honest I'm outraged by two other reviews that gave KF zero - three stars. KF is NOT a horrible school! Those reviews are just examples of how the school fits with you. Apparently they didn't get the aura that all the other families got. To sum it up Kew Forest is the best school in Queens.

This is my sons first year at Kew Forest and he loves it. He is really excited to go to school everyday and has had nothing but great things to say about the teachers and other kids there. I feel the same way but to have your child feel that way about their school is a wonderful feeling. I would recommend Kew Forest 100%!

Our son has been at K-F since Kindergarten. His confidence poise politeness and knowledge are noticeable to strangers family and friends alike. He is secure articulate and well-rounded. The diversity and academics of the school should not be underestimated. We attribute our success not only to the nurturing environment and strong academics at K-F but also to the follow up at home. We are happy with the school and fir the future it offers our son.

Kew Forest is a wonderful school. I send both my kids because it is a rich learning environment but also because it is a place where students learn to be respectful of one another. The students truly care about one another and this is fostered by the great teaching staff! Thank you Kew Forest!

Kew-Forest is a school that allows students to live up to their potential. Given the size of the school the resources are tremendous and because it is so small all of the students have access to the resources. The school has been successful in creating a very diverse and respectful community environment that allows students to flourish academically and extracurricularly. Nothing is perfect (the athletic program is adequate not superb) but the school has everything you could hope for to put your child in a position to have a realistic chance at the colleges on the top end of his/her range.

A perfect choice in my opinion in lieu of same gender schools I had previousl planned to send my son and daughter. A small setting that offers so many opportunties such as balance of academic social diversity etc. It is my children temporary second home with the best teachers and administrative staff who understand good values and cultures.

Kew Forest School has it all from Kindergarten to 12th Grade. Their lower school is nurtouring and teaches a solid core curriculum with plenty of extras. The middle school is curriculum is challenging and rounded. The High School level is way beyond exceptional. Students are challenged in all subjects and prepared for the future of college. All HS students go on to college and usually get into their first pick of school. Kew Forest School has it all! I am so glad that I found the school and have sent my children here!

My daughter just started KF in the 5th grade. She comes home happy every day and is so excited about all she is learning. She has different teachers for several subjects and likes all of them! My daughter has a severe peanut allergy and KF is a peanut aware school. Between the wonderful teachers administrators and staff workers I feel she is completely safe. The school is also so responsive to parents. KF is the best kept secret in New York!

My son went to public school for K-5th grade (P.S. 196 which is highly rated). He is now in 6th grade at Kew Forest and absolutely loves it. Teacher student ratio in his class is 8 1. Teachers are dedicated and caring. Parents can visit anytime unannounced (unheard of at the P.S.) and made to feel welcome. The work is challenging yet there is plenty of free homework help. This is a wonderful school with plenty to offer.

Kew-Forest is a hidden gem! My son went there from 3rd grade through 12th and had his pick of colleges when he graduated. He not only got a solid LIberal Arts education he developed a strong sense of self-confidence excellent speaking and writing skills and a great respect for tolerance and diversity.

Kew Forest is an excellent school both academically and socially. It keeps challenging the students to think outside the box. The curriculum is above the norm. The students are encouraged to be themselves to strive to be who they want to be. It is a caring and safe environment where teachers go above and beyond to help produce intelligent amazing young people.

My child just started kindergarten at KF and am very happy with my choice. The class is small (12 kids) and there is FT assistant that supports the teacher which makes it a fantastic teacher student ratio. Parental involvement is welcomed - which is great - and there is open teacher-parent communication. The older children genuinely care for the younger ones and are always willing to lend a helping hand. I considered a lot of different schools for my child and am glad that I chose KF. It also helps that my son loves the school!

Kew Forest is a mediocre school. The teaching isn't up to par. The students learn just enough to meet their grade requirements. Students that are sub-par are allowed to perform below standards. A good measure is that few of the students are accepted into the top private universities.

This school has a good cirriculum and they classes are small which give you that one to one attention but the locker rooms and bathrooms are gross. Also the students are not very trusting. many ipods calculators and electronics have been stollen from bags.
