The entire community is centered around the schools here. The teachers are outstanding veteran educators and we have nothing but great things to say about the schools here...all of them. We are a military family in the area and there is incredible community support as well. If you are moving to WPAFB this is the best community hands down...there is zero tolerance for bullying here as well. Additionally there is a new principle that we are excited about too.

My daughter has attended one other public school and a charter school. Our experience with Smith school has been wonderful. The staff took an interest in my daughter's success. The teachers really care about every student. Every student is valued and encouraged to reach their potential. The learning environment is top notch. The building and grounds are beautiful and well maintained but not so much so that the children do not feel free to explore. There are many extracurricular activities and all are encouraged to participate. Parents take an active role in school activities with many of the programs being run by parent volunteers.

Smith Elementary is a wonderful school. We are a military family with experience at numerous schools in various states and I must say that Smith Elementary is at the top of the list. The curriculum is challenging and the teachers are top-notch. They maintain structured classrooms yet they teach 'out of the box' and challenge critical thinking skills. My children have had a great experience at Smith and I highly recommend the school.
