I like a lot of things about this school it's remodeled & there are a lot of caring people that work there & volunteer there. They are pretty understaffed... the teachers need teaching assistants really badly as each teacher seems to have anywhere from 16-19 students by themselves without help. As a result of the student to teacher ratio I've also witnessed some stress behavior amongst a few of the teachers of the younger children that includes screaming @ the children in an overly mean tone & despite the fact that I know this issue has been brought to the attention of people in charge it didn't seem to get resolved b/c even some of the substitute teachers were doing the same thing.. I think they are a bit unorganized & they could use sound proofing in the cafeteria it's cinderblock walls & metal ceilings & tile floors & the sound level in there is deafening. Most of the teachers & staff seem to really be trying... I think they need more budget so they can get more staff & better quality substitutes. I would just like to see them treat the younger children a little kinder & have special classes for the students w/ challenges.
