Odyssey is a great school! Teachers are very nice and there are no gangs and no violence. Odyssey is very strict about dress code and school rules they aren't like other schools that pretend there are no rules. The staff are very kind and have a positive attitude.

Odyssey Middle school has been such a great experience for my grandkids. Lots of attention and hands on with the kids in school to make it a more enjoyable classroom setting. The teachers are very involved in making sure all the kids get the same quality education no matter what. In today's time we need these teachers to be almost like second parents and I totally feel very confident that my grandkids are in the best of hands.

The gang activity is on the raise and it would be shame if they don't get the control on this which involves only a hand full of students but I have witnessed how this can grow exponentially and destroy the whole school and in result the community where we live in.

The worst school i have been to in my life!!!! The teachers push you around like your a rag doll un sanitary bathroom stalls and on a technology bases is HORRIBLE!!

There is only word to describe odyssey middle school and that is amazing! my son achieved so much success because of school s ever so caring teachers. They love their students work with them everyday are highly certified. Numerous clubs as well as sports to choose from based on your child s personal interests and put a smile on their faces everyday. Also countless events take place everyday such as drama plays chorus and band concerts parent facuilty meetings reading/math family nights and so much more. You will love getting to know mrs.Painter mr.Sosa mr.Danner and mr.Townsend who strive everyday to teach the students the meaning of hard work. Safety is always enforced. It is no doubt a school where educational excellence is a reality. You will not regret sending your child to odyssey middle school thank you odyssey!

My son is currently a 7th grader at this middle school. This school has been great in keeping me informed on my child's progress. At all times I know what is going on with his academics. There is great encouragement on the school's part for children to participate in extracurricular activities. My experience with this school has been nothing but positive.

Odyssey Middle is a beautiful new school in the Vista Lakes community. The teachers really care about their students.

Quality of academic programs are not high. Extracurricular activities are not dominate. Level of parent involvement is very low. This school is like a prison.

Odyssey Middle School has been a great learning envirorment for my children. The academic program is excellent and the availability of art sports and other extracurricular activities is one of the best. I see alot of parental involvemnet and the staff are wonderful to interact with. They really care.

Excellent teaching staff great communication to parents regarding student performance however in my opinion student safety requires major improvement.

Excellent school. My son has gone all 3 years and got a lot out of it. He is doing the best ever and is looking forward to high school.

This is an excellent school. Coming from a NY district where there was total mayhem and chaos this is a very stable evironment. Yes some complain about lack of transportation for extra curricular activities but that is all over Florida not just here. There is plenty for the students to do during the school day and after school. The teachers are very committed and the school has a very strict regiment. I love the fact that with K12 I can check everyday my child's assignments school work completed works and grades. This is an excellent school and I am sorry that my child is in his last year here.

Odyssey is a school with stong academic goals from the administration staff parents and students.

My daugther started in this school in the second semester and our experience in base on that matter. Because in some classes they don't help the kids to be at the same level that the others kids are for example a lot of kids came from other countries and the ESOL programas is not enough every school had to be a program to help this kids so they can be at the same level at others because not all schools are theaching the same thing. My daughter is an A's student and she is having problmes with math and she can't take tutoring because the school don't have tranportation at that hours and we have only one car at home so it's imposible for us right know to get her at school for tutoring and her teacher is not helping too much with her gaps. But besides that this school are great and the teachers are very proffesional.

Only about 1 out of every 3 teachers accually care about the students and most of the work that happens at this school is just filler work to take up time. Don't expect to get very many grades back due to the teachers being 'to overwhelmed' or only grading one home work assaingment a week but giving the students 4 assignments. Over all rating C
