End of Class Tests (EOC)

In 2011-2012 North Carolina used End-of-Course (EOC) tests to assess high school students in Algebra I, English I, and Biology. The EOC tests are standards-based, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of North Carolina. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level on the tests.

The sports here is is terrible except for basketball the coaches are way below par and dont care the AD is worse and the principal doesnt care. The teachers are good but it seems like most all just want to get by to do nothing extra ordinary.

im a student for the first graduating class of 2010 GCHS has had its ups and downs; but so far it is a good school. The teachers are wonderful and i love to be around them. I couldnt be happier to be here and set an example for the rest of the students and the years to come.

This school is very nice. It is a big school but crouded. The school has calmed down alot and been alot more peaceful after the loss of a wonderful student who we all love and miss alot!

You could not ask for a nicer more caring school. The efforts by the staff are above and beyond any other school around. They are just wonderful. I am so glad my son & daughter are lucky enough to attend this school!
