Glenside is a very special safe place where teachers care and each student is treated individually. Rainbow of Friends offers so many rich experiences to help students relate well to each other. Program is rich. Even in the wonderful all day kindergarten the curriculum is defined and materials are outstanding. Most parents are involved and support their child's academic and social progress. The new building is spacious and sparkles.

The staff is wonderful and have a welcome open door policy. Children are treated with compassion and fairness despite background. The building is beautiful and always clean. My children have been at Glenside for two years and I cannot say I have a complaint!

My daughter graduated from this school in Jun 2008 and she learned so much. Her PSSA scores were always very high. The teachers are great. We had a wonderful 3 years at this school.

Glenside has a quality curriculum and caring and competent teachers in the 3rd and 4th grades. They communicated frequently and responded quickly to my concerns. The principal is involved and responsive. After 1 year in an inner city school 2 years at Glenside were wonderful. There is a music program that is adequate but could be more significant. The music teacher is good and loves the kids however. The PTO is very involved and run by the many stay at home Moms. I was impressed by the strength of the PTO.
